One of the most welcoming gyms I’ve ever been too. Staff is so kind, personable, and helpful! The age group tended to be more mature which was great and it was never too packed. Very clean and a great assortment/variety or machines, cables, and free weights. Very worth the money and my #1 in Gainesville.

This is a nice gym for folks that are primarily interested in weight training. They have an athletic conditioning area and a smoothie bar. The place isn't crowded and hence makes for a nice experience.

Bailey's gym is a great place to workout. They are open 24 hours a day, so there is no excuse NOT to get that pump for good cardio.

I have been going to Bailey's since 1998 when I left the US Navy. It was a great choice with multiple locations and was built for Locals. Now Chuze is a different story. The lack of customer care at the corporate location and only having 1 person to talk to after my account was "cancelled" due to being returned by the credit card company. I also had a power=cash account with 75. in it. I have not been in about 3 months and called in July to 'suspend' my account because I was not going to be in the area. 'Jennifer" in the billing department told me that there was no option but to pay the annual fee again, even though I had paid it and also I had 40 in return fees!" Wowzers. I went to Iraq and had a disconnect from Baileys for a few years but this current contract was since 2017. I cannot believe this. Now I have a $35 Bailey's PowerCash credit??? I was able to work out yesterday but to continue I am being held hostage.

Has everything you need if you are even semi-serious about fitness and weight training. Clean bathrooms, showers, lots of equipment, and open 24/7. Gym manager Warren is very hands-on and makes sure the gym stays tidy and organized.

I'm a gym rat and martial artist. I believe in spending my time in the gym training and sweating, not talking bringing a lot of attention to myself. Not an ego trainer, but enjoy assiting others. Love it! But! The music is way out dated.

Was charged for monthly payments for someone on my account for almost a year when I had canceled. Corporate was not helpful and wouldn’t even waive thirty day notice.

Bailey's is the best gym I've had the pleasure of being a member of, and I'm sad that I had to cancel after 3.5 years of going since I'm moving away from the area. The absolute best thing about Bailey's is it being open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Never having to think about closing time is fantastic, especially since I usually work out in the evening. The gym is usually not super crowded, and they renovated & added new equipment sometime in 2022. Staff is friendly and in my experience the fellow gym goers are all courteous (wiping down equipment, spotting, etc). I would recommend picking a local or regional gym like Bailey's over the big national chains any day of the week. (hoping I don't have to change this glowing review after the fact if I get any billing issues after my end date lol).

At that time I was Informed that I was locked into a 12 month contract. I explained to them and the billing office that that was not what I wanted and I haven't even used their gym at all and was wanting out before I ever got charged. They were unwilling to help me in any way even understanding the misinformation and situation at hand. I have been stuck paying for something that I don't want and have not used a single time. I just want my contract cancelled and to be refunded. I will never step foot in a baileys gym again after this. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I called corporate, they said that the fine print on my contract stated that they would charge me month to month after my contract was ended if I did not show up in person to end my contract. I explained I had a health condition that prevented me from going to the gym and that no one had explained this to me. They would not refund the charge. I also asked where in the contract it stated I would continue to be charged the annual fee despite not being a member, they said they would not refund the charges. I am extremely disgusted by their response and their greed. This system is set up for profiteering. Warren and his staff are great! They are engaging and fun and the gym is well equipped. I enjoy that it is 24 hours and they have a performance training (turf) area that is included in my membership. Keep up the great work!

I have been working out in this gym since I moved in Gainesville for 10 years now. At first I membered in one of the Gym of the city but I figured Bailey’s is enough for me and monthly fee is very economical. I like the arrangements and the number of the equipment and machines and their ration with the people who gym there, as compared with the gym I tried out for few days. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I don’t like is their very weak wifi??? other than that the gym is great

love the gym except one critical thing. I love that there’s not a lot of people like there are at crunch but GOOD NIGHT ITS HOT IN THERE ALL THE TIME. EVEN IN THE WINTER TIME. I think they purposely don’t run the ac to save money. I know I’ve heard others here complain about that too.
