This is a nicely decorated, new hotel, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The pet friendliness is also a plus. It’s a shame that the walls are so thin and the sound barrier in between the floors is basically non existent. You hear every footstep of your upstairs neighbor, and on the 5th floor, the equipment and machinery is incredibly loud humming/vibration. I blame new construction, not the staff. If you’re not sensitive to noise, I’d recommend this hotel.

Pros: Room was clean, hallways wide, FANTASTIC GYM! Complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings near the lobby, bar, pool table.Cons: My room had many small maintenance issues. Broken toilet paper holder, broken tile in the bathroom, loose handles, and a loud door. And the fridge was TINY.Doors in this hotel are not soft close, and the cleaners constantly slam while going in and out. Horrible intrusion on peace and quiet! Guests and staff were loud and inconsiderate.Service needs professionalism training. A cleaner, upon my arrival, was having a top volume conversation on speakerphone, just outside of a side door, complaining about the job, "They don't pay me enough for this shi*!" I could hear every word she said, across the parking lot, from 30f away. Yeesh...I wouldn't come back. It was okay for a few days, but I'm glad to check out and be away from the racket.Noteworthy details: This is not a quiet, relaxing hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great location. There is no sound insulation at all in between rooms. Noise level is out of control. This is the loudest Aloft / Marriott hotel I have ever stayed in. If you want a good nights rest, this is not the hotel to go too.

Rooms have a very modern feel to them.. the layout is different from your typical hotel room. Desk staff was attentive and very nice. Has an in house bar and ample parking. Right near the college! WAY less expensive than the Hilton next door, where I have stayed in the past for work.

Very disappointing to check in late in the evening with a tired toddler only to be given a room that had beds which were made but had clearly not had the sheets changed! We have been staying at this hotel at least 4-8 times per year for the past 5ish years to stay the night as we drive down to visit family. The location is great, we can bring our dogs at no additional charge, rooms are spacious, and parking is always easy.Unfortunately, over the last maybe two years with every passing stay the rooms are less and less clean. Questionable hairs, stains all over the carpets, stains on the walls from splashed drinks (?) in the rooms, and now beds with sheets that someone had 100% slept on. At this point, I don’t want my toddler to touch anything in the rooms when we stay, which I am now doubting we will again. The person at the front desk was quick to give us a new room but that should have never happened especially when the hotel was emptier than I have ever seen it.Safety: Well lit parking lot, I’ve always felt safe even when arriving very late at night.

I went to Aloft 3743 Hull Rd., because I heard about a tax lien workshop. I thought it was a clubhouse or activity/community center. When I got there I found out Aloft was a motel! It has a real modern, upbeat, artsy, an artistic design. They are little booths in the lobby that look very cozy and romantic, there's also a little snack ? area, a pool table?, open design informational areas, a swimming ?♀️pool and a gym?️♀️.EMPLOYEES: The Front Desk Agents -employees were friendly knowledgeable and informative. They had excellent customer service and product knowledge and was very helpful? in showing me ?️the place. I talked to Melani , Michaela , and Randy? (spelled with an "i" instead of y) Come and see them for excellent customer service, they where do the best to ensure you have a pleasant visit!Nearby activities: See my Review:Food & drinks: See my review:Noteworthy details: See my review:

This is the nastiest, dirtiest Marriott l have ever stayed and l have stayed at many in the last 35 years. Billed as relatively new, they have no lobby area but a rec area that apparently is the lobby. Seating and rugs stained and dirty, Dog poop in the hallways on the second floor, shower soap laying on floor as it had fallen off the way they are glues on the wall. Staff are in LA la land. Elevators work in the manner of ghetto and prison like.

This hotel is right by the University Florida and is in a prime location. The gym is good enough for a decent workout. They had complimentary hot chocolate and I didn’t like the fact that the marshmallows were uncovered all night into the morning. Other than that it’s a good value for the price.

Staff was polite but a bit indifferent. The hotel was not as clean as expected. Room was comfortable but would not consider for extended stay. Location is ideal if you’re visiting a student at UF.

Close to UF. Only positive. The walls in the room were so thin, I could hear conversations from far down the hallway outside. The constant slamming of the doors is miserable, shakes the room your in. And house keeping will knock on your door at 8:30am , even with a do not disturb sign. And they’ll do it again in an hour even if check out is At 12. Thumbs down.

There was noise on the room next to me couldn't sleep well for that reason. Went to take a shower as soon as arrived and there was no soap on dispenser had to use Shampoo ? I thought it was cool they had dry bar just it was empty. Made coffee to go but the lids didn't fit the coffee cup they had. Other then that room was clean and pretty comfortable and pillows were perfect. Did address everything at checkout he just said ok thank you.

This hotel doesn’t care about his clients. They don’t have a clue about what hospitality means. I have been a Marriott loyal customer for many years. They cancelled my hotel reservation after I traveled 5 hours to get there. They told me that they tried to contact me by email but I was driving and didn’t check my email until it was too late and they have cancelled my reservation. I have made this reservation more than a month ago. They didn’t care and cancelled it without even a phone call. Who does that. I’m very disappointed today and I will be never give them any more business. I have referred 14 families to stay there today and they paid me back cancelling my room. I will make sure that I withdraw my team for future stays at this place.
