Lake Griffin State Park is a small but awesome and peaceful park. It is kept in good condition and very clean. The park features the second largest oak tree, which is impressive and mammoth. There are beautiful waterways for kayaking and fishing. The park offers a couple of small nature trails, though they are not very long. It has a nice campground with very nice sites, though they are mostly small and packed in tight, which may not suit big rigs. The park includes a playground for kids. The rangers and camp hosts are friendly and helpful. Currently, the park is temporarily closed for renovations on the campsites and access road. A drawback is its proximity to a highway, resulting in traffic noise. Once reopened, it is a recommended place to camp and enjoy the water.
Beautiful wetlands kayaking. Lots of plant life but light on the wildlife. Good guides and good price.

Stayed in campground site 7. This park is small but such a awesome place. The 2nd largest oak tree was impressive. This park was very clean, camp sites were very nice. The only draw back is that it is very close to highway and there is a lot of traffic noise.

Easy to access for rv waste disposal. Upsetting tho that it currently closed due to renovations that they are doing on camp sites and the access road to camp sites. Once reopened, 10/10
