I visit and perform a magic show two or more times a year at Westminster Woods. The marketing department staff do a great job and go out of there way to make sure everting goes great. All of the residents I talk to are excited about living there. Great place!I hope to be one of the happy residents someday.

Let's start with the overall level of neglect for both the assisted living and rapid recovery.Rebecca the nursing director was absolutely horrible and should be prosecuted. We presented her with the concerns and she just didn't care. She yelled at me for expressing concerns. What a horrible human being. Our mom was neglected. Plan and simple. She fell. The facility knew she fell. We were not notified. We found out when we picked her up for Thanksgiving. They refused to acknowledge anything. I wouldn't leave my dog with these people.

Our experience with west minister during my family members stay in the rapid rehab had positives and huge negatives. The nurses -Hannah went above and beyond for us . Gaby and Mary were wonderful and caring and did their jobs to the best of their abilities because staffing is an issue. There is not enough staff for the amount of patients.CNAs- Kesha , Evie, Juanda , and Maddie were very helpful and did their jobs wonderfully .Dan the speech therapist is exceptional and so is the PT and OT team. Thank you.The kitchen area should be reported. The sanitation of cleanliness is despicable and breeding more germs for already sick patients. The janitorial staff does take time to clean the patients rooms well and is also a very kind person.Director of Nursing Rebecca- it is appalling that the “director of nursing” has no compassion or empathy for the patients or families that she is overseeing .The amount of unanswered questions in-guards to medication changes or reasons why they were not given is despicable. She was so incredibly passive aggressive and showed no concern or care while speaking about our concerns of our family member. Rebecca never informed us on changes of medications nor when medications would be discontinued or not refilled by pharmacy these types of changes should always be made known to not only the family , the patient and the doctor overseeing her.We made it very known we were a hands on family and take pride knowing all aspects of our parents health. And to not be informed on all of this information is very alarming for all patients under your care. This should be illegal under medical care.

Andy, Rebecca and Monica,I enjoyed the festive Christmas Dinner. The entertainment was excellent and the delicious dinner was superb. The dinner was small example the abundant daily care I receive while being a resident of Healthcare Center. Thank you. Merry Christmas for you and your staff!Charlie Landreth

Hats off to the staff! Two activities that stood out this week were the Fiddler on the Roof and Coffee Series Symphony events. The seating selection at the Alhambra Theatre was superb. Often dinner at those venues is ok, but here it was excellent, with some good choices and generous amounts. The theatre group was unique and did a great job. I felt like part of the production, sitting up so close. The Symphony was awesome; another reason to be at WWJC. The restaurant selection afterwards was a good one; close to home and they provided excellent service. We could have gone on our own, but this way is more enjoyable.Organizing the transportation for both events was well done. The availability of such service is something I had been looking forward to when we came to WWJC; not having to drive, figure out parking, what time to leave, etc. There are always challenges going out with people our age and the size of the group ? but the staff is well prepared and provided with equipment like a lift on the bus… (and bottles of water).

Big, beautiful property with million dollar views, an organization that promises to give the best of the best - cannot afford to purchase temperature controlled vehicles. Your loved ones will receive delicious meals delivered from the trunk of a hot car, or on the back of a golf cart held by bungee cord. Waste is no concern, leftover food is recycled from one outlet and served in others labeled "fresh". Ironically running out of food is an ongoing issue. Always ask to see the kitchen and serving areas when touring a community, ask how meals are prepared and transported. Ask questions.

I have nothing but praise for this facility. From the first day Mom moved into Westminster to her last days at Westminster, she was loved and cared for just like a family member by the staff. Mom’s only complaint was “ the food is too good”. Thank you Westminster.

What a lovely and caring place for Mom. We were there on a daily basis. We could see the love and care provided for Mom and the other residents. Westminster has an outstanding enrichment program that I know Mom benefitted from. We especially enjoyed the therapy garden!

Every person I encounter has a smile on their face and a warm greeting. So, I assume everyone loves where they live. The food is wonderful. There are multitude of daily activities to choose from, some of my favorite are playing pickeball, crocheting with friends or knitting, brain enhancement class, the monthly social and the live entertainment. I have been here for 7 months and I just love it!

We could not be happier with my mom's experience in her new home. She was living at her own home previously, but not getting out as much and was becoming rather reclusive. My family and I discussed the best options for mom considering her age (88) and current condition. But more than anything we wanted to get her in a place that she deserves, her only request was to be able to see the water. Since moving to Westminster I truly believe she has been given a drink from the Fountain of Youth. She loves the campus and all the natural settings that are around it. She is getting plenty of exercise because she chooses to walk everywhere instead of riding on the trams. She takes advantage of field trips, special gatherings, parties, trips to various stores and so much more. Every time we see her now, she has the biggest smile on her face, it just fills our hearts with joy! I believe we have added years to her life as a result of this beautiful place. Thank you, Westminster, for all you do!

Don’t get me wrong this place is really fancy and nice but they are always low on staff and this is why most residents have so many falls in this facility because most of the time they’re left alone in their room due to lack of attention! Please if you care about your loved ones do not choose this place to be their home.
