We were really excited to try the place out while being in the neighborhood, however the moment we walked in we began to regret it, yet still gave it a try.We ordered Massaman Curry with white rice (came with miso soup and salad with ginger sauce), and a tuna bowl and side of noodles.Curry to be honest was not great: vegetables were cut in irregular sizes that were very difficult to have in a bite size (literally had a piece of onion that looked like it only got cut in half and threw in), carrots were Half cooked/half raw. I asked for level 3/5 in spicy. At least the fried tofu was fresh.Tuna bowl had way too much sauce (covering all the rice and still have liquid) and not enough rice. Seaweed salad in it was not very tasty and texture was mushy. The only thing that was okay-ish was the noodles. The place has so much potential but it is lacking some love from management. Tables are work, felt sticky; lighting was a cool tone, which made it not so homey in my opinion. Some revamp on the decoration and some lighting adjustment would go a long way.Would I come back? Probably not.

I was in this restaurant about 3-4 days to eat lunch with my husband. I ate something different than my husband (Kani salad & dynamite sushi), it tasted normal while eating but…within an hour my stomach was tore up?? ??. I pushed through the discomfort that my stomach was feeling (like water boiling) while I was out. Then when arriving home I drank liquid & took medicine to try and ease the nausea and hurting…I wasn’t sure what happened but I definitely feel like it was food poisoning because it came on quick. When I ended up going to sleep…around 2am all the food came up..???We’ve eaten here before and enjoyed the food but I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. My stomach is still not completely healed…

We were just driving around looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat and we found Wakame. So happy we did, the food was delicious and service was phenomenal.

I normally don’t do reviews but I’ve never been so disgusted. I ordered a steak hibachi to go and upon opening the steak and veggies there was little white wire-y hairs all throughout the food. On everything. I have no idea if it’s human hair or what but wasted $20 because I was too grossed out to eat it.

I had take out so I can't say too much about service or atmosphere, but from what I did see, the atmosphere was very easy on the eyes and appealing, and the service was super friendly and quick, the food was wonderful, I had the miso soup and a couple of sushi rolls, and they were very tasty, nothing particularly special, but still a very yummy dinner, I'll definitely go back

If you love coconut, go for the coconut sushi, it’s really good, a little bit sweet but great.Second time eating here, and we really enjoyed it.

We've been going to Wakame off and on for over 10 years now but we're moving on now. The food is just not what it used to be and the prices are ridiculous for the quality. On top of that the bathrooms are filthy and no soap. Not sure how the staff washes their hands? Also charging junk fees on the check makes this place a no-go.

I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Their Thai dishes are fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Twice I have been here with 8 ladies for the $11.99 lunch specials. To please 8 older women ( ages mid- 50 - 94!) can be challenging, but this menu has enough variety for all tastes. Most of us had the teriyaki salmon which was a generous portion of moist, tender salmon with generous portions of grilled veggies & delicious fried rice. Some of us had the ginger salad & some the house soup, each part of our & 11.99 special and again, both were tasty accompaniments to our lunch. This will be my " go to" place for teriyaki salmon and other new dishes I hope to try.
