Great thrift shop full of lots of bargains. And a worthy cause for your donations of unwanted/unneeded items.

We came here because we heard that this thrift store is better than goodwill. we had about 4 bags of donations and brought them to the front desk, we were not even greeted, we had to ask the front desk employee if she worked there, and gave her the bags when she replied with a yes. she looked at us with this horrible look as if we just committed a crime and took the bags and set it aside, she then told us that “donations go to the back”not even a thank you, she did not show any appreciation what so ever. i believe that as a place that runs strictly off of donations, they should at least be kind to the people that do donate. after she kept bringing up the fact that we should have gone to the back to donate and that she’s so busy ( when she was really just flipping through pins and buttons) we decided to let her know that she should be kind to the people the donate. even when we said that she wouldn’t stop barking at us, the assistant manager was very kind and told her to stop and she explained that there is a place at the back to donate but she said it was no problem to donate here. i do not recommend donating here because customer service is 1/10. the only reason i rated this 2 stars was because of the assistant manager.

What a headache dealing with them to give donations. I hired a moving truck to donate my fathers furniture (4 pieces) after he passed. The woman on the phone said st Aug store would take it. After driving there from orange park, they denied the furniture, saying they had no room. They added a lot of stress to my life, when all they had to say is they don’t accept furniture. Not very honest.

We thought this was a very reasonable thrift store. There is a very good selection of household items, clothes, shoes, jewelry and furniture. We would recommend this on any thrift shoppers list of stops.

Today, Kris and his brother, Keith, bent over backwards to help us with a couch bed we'd hoped to donate. Unfortunately, at the last minute, it was rejected because of a small tear. They knew that my husband was sick, so they came a day early and moved the couch to the curb. It was above and beyond in these trying times of covid. We will definitely find something to donate and plan to check out the store when we move beyond these days. (We had purchased a new couch recently and the furniture store recommended them to donate to. I love their mission, the homeless. What a wonderful group of people!
