Small office. Older equipment, so the wait time is typically longer than other offices. Sherry is super nice but she is overworked and underpaid. Hopefully they can get better equipment soon.

Always a joy to go into the post office here. Great service and kind. Plenty of parking. Clean table to sort out your mail. It is a blessing to have a fully stocked United States Post Office here in Fountain. Thank you for keeping it opened.

This is a very small post office that has most of the services you'll need that the bigger post offices have. Except today, there was a guest clerk working here from another office and she had some trouble finding stuff. For example, she did not have more than one change-of-address card for the woman who came in ahead of me. And she could not find any postcard stamps. She tried hard and it wasn't her fault that this office is so poorly set up. It is located off US 231 and the parking lot was fine for my RV. There is no mailbox with a drop off lane. This post office is so efficient, and on the ball. When you are tracking a package and the larger city post offices neglect to enter in information, you at least know when your package is near or out for delivery due to the efficiency and responsibility in task of this post office. Living in on acreage with a gate, it is so helpful to have this information. it saves from having other potential problems.
