“I would like to share my experience at the high spring advance auto parts location. A little quick story; I bought two brand new CV axles 29 days ago limited lifetime warranty on both one of the axles was faulty and failed on me last week. I’ve been very busy because I own an automotive shop in Fort White, Florida after calling the store that the purchase was originally made from east university Gainesville, Florida and telling them about that problem I had with the part I was instructed to bring it down and let them check it out upon arriving to the location with receipts online receipts with scannable barcodes with transaction numbers, the original part of the original box I went on a 45 minute interrogation with two guys that were behind the counter of that literally did not seem to know a single thing about car parts a single thing about advanced auto parts policies, let alone how to help a customer then I was met by a big heavyset white guy that came out the back who slapped his hand on the counter and informed me that he’s been in this company for 15 years and they don’t warranty cv axles I was so frustrated. I was literally only able to walk out for further conversation my resulted in a bad decision on my part so I left with no help clearly at any store in Gainesville because every store that I called was the most unprofessional knowledgeable conversations I’ve had in years I happen to call the high spring store, which was on the way back home immediately I was met with a friendly greeting from a guy named Jackson, which I come to find out is a new employee. Let me tell you about Jackson. We showed up to the location with the axle in question Jackson without missing a beat pulled up the online transaction ID, which not a single other employee in any Gainesville location knew how to do. They did not know how to go to the speed perks side and find a online customer loyalty purchase history, but continue to tell me that the transaction didn’t exist as I showed it to them in red yellow and white on advanced auto parts on website, Jackson was absolutely phenomenal. He made it just as it was a very simple warranty exchange, but in this day and age, this is not a very simple thing. It is so complicated to even have people do the basic needs of their job that we must celebrate people like Jackson if I was running this district, I would fire every single person in the Gainesville area and that’s literally Jackson needs to have a store given to him whether he knows how to run the inventory do cycle counts or walk around with a certain color shirt and act like he’s something that he’s not he does know how to do the basic thing that we all came here for customer service everybody has lost their touch on what customer service is you guys have people in power that only wanna say no instead of simply doing their job it is ridiculous and I absolutely want to give Jackson a five star top-of-the-line review he deserves promotions. he deserves all the things that sadly he probably will not get if anybody of any power or any consequence is listening or reading this no that we have a multi million dollar automotive shop and haven’t even considered a commercial account with you because of this kind of scenarios right here. There is far too many Gainesville employees in far to less Jackson’s in the world. You need to celebrate your good ones and he is a good one.
This is also a tip of the hat to whoever is the general manager of the high Springs location. Every one of his employees that was on staff definitely deserve a nod of the hat as well. Everybody was working. The store was tidy. Everybody acted like they were part specialist, and it was refreshing so tip of the hat to the general manager of Hot Springs. You got a good thing going it matters to some people trust me”
“The new owners of the business are awesome people. They will go out of their way to help you as they did me I have busted a coolant line in my tow truck loaded with a car and had my three-year-old in the truck with me. I stopped in there and the nice lady said she would look after my child while I fix the truck so we can get back on the road. My son had a blast and was able to get my truck fixed. They are now my number-one go to parts store.”
