The older slender lady that works at this Tom Thumb could get some lessons in customer service. She talks really rude to customers. Maybe give her a job in the back somewhere if she isn't a people person.

Went in this morning & staff was very unprofessional. Female working there was ignoring customers & cussing up a storm with her male co worker. Also, outside was very poorly kept. Trash overflowing out of the receptacle out front. Sign of the times I am afraid. Customer service a thing of the past. Lazyness and not caring is the new rule in the workplace. Sad

Horrible customer service. Went in to get a cup of coffee tonight and the first cup I grabbed was splattered with coffee. So I threw it away and grabbed the next cup and the Tom Thumb employee currently working the register got onto me for throwing it away, because they “keep it for inventory”. She then proceeded to grab the dirty coffee cup out of the trash and put it in their office. I’m not sure why you would keep a dirty coffee cup or why your employees think that they can treat customers that way. I’ve never had a bad experience with a tom thumb before or been talked down to by a Tom Thumb employee. I will never go to this location again.

Jo Anne and Theresa refused to sell tobacco products to me. After giving 2 forms of ID. I presented an old ID ( because I’m on vacation, and just had my entire wallet stolen.) ( also never had a problem with an old ID before, just bought alcohol the night before. Theresa refuses after admitting she knows I’m over the legal age. So I walked IN THE RAIN back to my hotel and grabbed THE ONLY VALID DDS DRIVERS LICENSE THAT I HAVE IN MY POSSESSION. Theresa refused. So I asked for the Store Manger and she said she would be back so I walked outside to call corporate. Theresa stood at the counter and texted JoAnne When Joanne walked in ( Store Manager), she did not even give me a chance to explain anything and said “ can’t help you” and walked away. They both raised their voices at me out of intimidation, once they saw I wasn’t backing down, because I know federal law. I have never in my life been treated this way for trying to buy a pack of cigarettes- after providing VALID ID !!!! Theresa admitted she knew I was over the legal age and knows when my birthday is but still will not sell to me. “ if you didn’t give me a hard time about it, I would have sold them to you “ ( after I walked in the rain to go get the second ID) So they bend the rules for people they like and if you don’t please them they refuse and make up rules. Once the store manager walked in, Theresa denied ever saying this. Laughing in my face and asking for prof that she said this. I walked out the door saying I would handle this with corporate, while Joanne was screaming at me from behind the counter. You could both ladies were older and thought I was 16 trying to “ get one over on them”. These ladies DO NOT know how to handle customers or confrontation. Joanne wouldn’t even talk to me she kept walking over and raising her voice and walking away. This was the worse experience of my life, trying to buy a pack of cigarettes . I have never in my life been treated in such a childish and ridiculous manner. I have called cooperate- and will have some answers by the end of the day. Also, I had to send me 18 year old brother to buy cigarettes ( and he doesn’t even smoke ) They saw his last name was the same as mine and gave him nasty looks the entire time.

No Cash Back at this Tom Thumb. Cashiers do not know how to use the register to give cash back.

Great prices on regularly found convenience store items as well as the "real time cafe" with great pizza, sandwiches and breakfast biscuits.
