I made the mistake of going to marie at red lotus salon. It was a year ago around this time that I walked into the door of this salon.I had long beautiful hair when I met Marie. All I wanted was my roots done and some lowlights. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I wasnt even supposed to see marie but the other girl passed me off to her cause she had overbooked herself and so i got pushed aside . Well now I bearly have hair . It has taken me a year to have bangs. I hate bangs but thats how bad it is. She burnt off all my beautiful hair now I have a bunch of fried different length hair that bearly goes back into a pony tail which I have to put back in sectioned off barrets and spray with product just to stay down . It has been a nightmare . I am sick still about this . Why did she do this to me. How or what went wrong . I would have rather waited to get my hair done or done it myself . She completely burnt all my hair off ! Did she leave it on too long did she use too much chemical I don't know I'm not the expert but something happened and now I'm left like this I tried to call but nobody would take my call of course not because she knows what she did was wrong now I'm left like this what do you do when a stylist ruins all your hair there's no manual for that so I'm left growing out my slow-growing thin hair that took me 10 years to grow out in the first place so I'm going to be 50 by the time my hair gets to my shoulders again... thanks! I'm just trying to help other people by writing this review I'm trying to save as much hair as I can for other people because it's been a nightmare for me.Don't go there there are plenty of other good places don't make the mistake like I did. Came in with very long and overgrown old lady hair. Laura listened and then gave me the best haircut for my hair. She knows her stuff. My hair was happy from the moment she went to work. And she’s a lovely person too. So glad I found her!Services: Hairstyling

I had a horrible expierience with Marie at Red Lotus Salon . I went to her for a root job and some low lights . She even comented at how healthy my hair was even though I had taken it from dark blue to blond all by my self . It was longer then I had ever grown it out before which is why I wanted a professional to do it. Well I am still 4 months later living a nightmare . She absolutly burned my hair right down to nothing .Which is why it took me so long to really see the extent of the damage she did . I dont know why or how i got this punishment .I was so nice and I even invited her out on my boat with me. Of coarse I was not aware of the damage at this time . makes perfect sence to me now why she never answered the phone for me any time i called her which was about 3 times. I even left messages . So my advice to anyone would be run.... She is not the one to be doing color of any sort.I am a rookie and its obvious that i do better hair then this girl. My hair is completely ruened for God knows how long my hair takes for ever to grow .I cant put it in pony tail because of all the regrowth from being burned to a pulp . I went to another salon and basically said he wouldn't touch it nor should anyone . So thanks alot for the aweful year ahead with this aweful hair.

Marie at Red Lotus was FABULOUS!!! I walked out of the salon feeling like absolute royalty. She is super patient, and helped me figure out what to do with my thick & curly hair that I had been dealing with myself for years. My hair is hard to cut right. Marie knocked it out of the park with both my CUT and COLOR. I LOVE IT!! Her awesome personality was just the icing on the cake. The owner was there working with another client and she seemed fantastic as well. Another thing that impressed me was the salon’s responsive communication. This place gives the kind of exceptional service rarely found these days. Kudos, ladies! Red Lotus Salon exceeded all expectations, and I will for sure be back!Services: Curly hair

Laura was terrific. I have very thick, curly and wavy hair. She took a lot of time to assess my hair and listen to exactly what I wanted. My hair was cut unevenly and damaged before the appointment. She found a way to remove all the damage and get me on the right track to my longterm goal. She took her time, gave me plenty of advice on how to style it, recommendations on products AND natural remedies to help with any issues that come with my hair type. I'm very pleased with the cut and how informative the experience was.Services: Curly hair

I went to Laura today since moving here to FWB in 2019 and leaving behind my stylist that did my hair since 1995. She's the 1st person I've trusted with my hair and I let her do her thing! IT WAS WORTH IT! She was very caring about my concerns and listened to everything. We also talked like old friends which was wonderful! Thank you Laura! I will definitely be coming back!

Laura is a nice lady but she doesn't listen! I went in based on google reviews and showed her pictures of the color and cut I wanted. That is not what I got, she chose what she wanted to do with my hair which was not the coloring I wanted and certainly not the haircut. She cut so much of my hair off that I will now be going to buy extensions to put in. On second thought, I need to just by a wig until my hair grows out. Not only did the cut the length off but she chopped off so much hair in putting layers all the way up the back and sides of my hair. I went in with hair long enough to put it up in a ponytail or an updo. My hair is so short now, I can't put it up at all because there is no hair but she cut it all off! I ran into friends and family after left the salon, the first question was why in the world did you get all your hair cut off. I told them it wasn't my choice but a scissor happy hairdresser who thought she knew best. It will take a year or more for the back of my hair to grow out. I am sickened by the way it looks. Her prices are high which wouldn't be a problem if she did what you ask. The entire process was a nightmare. If you want the hairdresser to decide what you should look like, then she might be your choice. But for me, I WILL NOT BE BACK!!?✂❌

Scarlet is FANTASTIC! I won't go to anyone else - she's been doing my hair for about 3 years now! Anything from all over color to balayage to beautiful cuts, she is the best. Highly recommend her! You won't be disappointed.

I went to the Red Lotus Salon last evening after work. I had the most enjoyable, relaxing time. Its been some time since I have had any hair maintenance done. I moved to Navarre from Pittsburgh and finally found Laura who knew how to work with curly hair!! She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted done and she more than delivered!! Laura gave me the best cut and color I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend going to such a knowledgeable stylist. I am more than pleased and look forward to going back again!!
