Awesome place! We came in close to closing time, and Faith & Shantell were so sweet and helpful. They were wonderful and the selection was fantastic. We'll be back for sure!

I do not see how anyone would give this place 5 stars. After dinner at the Crab Trap we decided to stop in and get our sons a necklace and daughter a bracelet. After picking out the ones they wanted we went up to the register. Two women were behind the register folding clothes. I understand being busy, I’ve worked in retail but I’ve never just blatantly looked at someone in their face and ignored them. No “I’ll be with you in just a minute” or “let me get someone to check you out”, nothing. They were 3 (maybe 4) employees in the store and not a single one had any interest in checking us out. After standing at the register for 5 minutes, watching the two ladies chitchat and giggle literally 3 feet from the register, we left the stuff sitting there and walked out. Luckily we went next door to surf side and found what we were looking for (for $7 cheaper too!!!) and the single employee at the register had no issue checking us out and was quick and pleasant. If I owned this store I would be getting some new employees!!

Absolutely amazing customer service! Not only did they help find what we were looking for, they perfectly handled the return when we needed a different size. To top it off, I left the bag of things that weren’t returned behind and headed back home (14 hours away). I called 2 days later to find out they had set the things aside just in case. When I explained that I was already home, they offered to ship everything to me, priority, at no cost! 5 out of 5, the best gift shop on the beach!

Wonderful selection of items that were helpful to us on our vacation. Plus, just good people! My 8 year old left her favorite hat here and they went out of their way to ensure it was returned to us at our hotel! :)

I stopped in with my family after having dinner and Alaina M who was at the cashier desk was absolutely rude! She acted as if she didn’t want to be at work and checking me out was the worst part of her day. I asked if they offer military discount and looked at my with disgust and stated “only for active” to me as a 100% disabled veteran who has a military id I have never been denied a discount seeing that I do have a id. She couldn’t answer that question though. when I gave her my credit card she again looked at me with disgust asking for an id when given she snatched them both out my hand. I will never return and give this place a service if this is how I will be treated and will be contacting the manager

We stop into Islander's every summer when we visit for vacay. I always find the perfect dress for family pics on the beach!

Born and raised in Destin area. I moved out of state for work and everytime I visit home I stop by. I have found my new favorite hat. The one in the photo. I bought the last one in store last time I was home and I just ordered a second one. The first one is for yard work and the other is for business meetings. Love them and would love more lol
