My husband made an appointment at this HRBlock. Upon arrival, the tax person complained about the fact that the appointment was not “confirmed”. We’re adults. We show up to our tax appointments. She then proceeded to tell him that the tax filing would be expensive and was not sure we could pay it. Following this, she said he would have to come back again due to filing independent. Wasted our time; we will not be returning to HRBlock.

They quote $80 for my tax return as individual They charged me $370 ! I am so upset I feel like calling the police - this is so unprofessional and disorganized- in addition they booked me and my partner us as couple without asking any questions like if we married and they could only do one Return - what I appreciate Bc I don’t have to be scammed 2 x AVOID ! I just saw the reviews for other offices - horror show !!! I feel like I been scammed !

I called the Fort Walton Beach location of H&R Block approximately two weeks ago with some tax questions. The woman I spoke with did not know the answers and promised to call me back the next day. I'm still waiting.As a result, I will be giving all my business to Jackson Hewitt. I used H&R Block for many years. I am disappointed with them and expected better.
