Margo at the front desk is the best front desk person we have ever worked with. She really took great care of us. Thanks Margo and the entire Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Walton staff.”

Called down and asked for hangers and was told no because they dont have closets but a few pegs to hang stuff on the wall. The rest of the hotel staff was very helpful and the food was good as well. Resort is nice and well kept for being a little older of a resort. Great view and a relaxing beach!”
“So I give this place a 3.9 Overall rating. It's not a luxury stay, it's about convenience and safety and able to travel with a pet!!
Hotel is in a good location with a cute downtown just 2 minutes in your car. 30 minutes to Destin BCH and plenty of near by things to do.
Bed was over all comfortable, there isn't any luxury bedding or comfy comforter so Spring and Summer that will work but not in the winter.
You can bring a small pet ,cat or dog! That's actually why I chose this place.
Room was clean but very bare bones.
No dressers or luggage storage area.
If you are a solo traveler or with a pet it's great!
Cable TV, more channels than many other hotels for after a long day out at the beach. The room stays cool, and the bathroom was nice and big and great water pressure.
Everything was clean overall.
Most of the staff is friendly.
The pool is small but you will be at the beaches anyway. I went down for a few hours on my first day.
If you like power walking there's plenty of places near by for walks.
I used my Hilton points.
Otherwise it would have been pricey.
Stay here if you have a small pet, solo traveler and just need a clean, safe comfortable bed. Nothing fancy.
I didn't have the breakfast, it's not my thing. It looked like a typical cheap hotel breakfast. Continental lol
The usual yogurt and stale pastries and some strange machines to cook your pancakes.
I'm not eating anything squeezed from a bag and pushed out through some press machine lol But for some people I'm sure they enjoy it. Like some people still eat at McDonald's. Each their own.
If you want better breakfast stay in a more upscale hotel or find a local eatery. Coffee was good. 3. 9 hotel.
If traveling alone again with my pet I would stay here again.
With my husband and pet just not enough room.
Ms. Moochie definitely enjoyed her stay as well.
Thank you for allowing small pets!!
Safety: Felt safe
Walkability: You can walk to several places near by!”

322 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, Fort Walton Beach“I have stayed here for a week, and I have enjoyed just about everything and everyone. However I was HIGHLY ANNOYED with the evening front desk attendant for a few days. On Saturday morning I walked to the desk and asked her if we could get some apple juice in the dining room, and she says to me while standing there doing nothing along with 2 of her coworkers that were there attending to needs of other customer “there’s an attendant over there” and I said he’s not out here. And she said he’ll be back in a minute.” The proper thing for her to do is say yes ma’am no problem I can definitely get that for you. But she didn’t she stood there twiddling her thumbs and didn’t move. So I took the initiative to go to the door that says employees only and opened it and asked the attendant myself as a true leader and public relations manager would. That same evening I asked the same attendant for a bottle of water, and she he’s in a meeting you’re going to have to wait and come back. And she made me wait. I had to walk a round outside in the humidity for 15 minutes with a dry pallet until management came from the meeting give me 1 bottle of water. Now problem I have here is this her attitude is very HASTY, and it’s not appropriate to have in customer service. Seems to me she does that to other guest as well, and I honestly don’t like it. Simply because I heard a few other guests speaking about her. I like this place, actually love it but I choose to not deal with her at all as long as my stay is extended! I have been in customer service for 22 years, and even on the days that I wasn’t feeling my best, I still served everyone with a smile, positive attitude and energy even if I didn’t want to be there. That’s not a good look for your front desk business being honest. It depreciates the value of this hotels moral for customer service. People 1st always is what my mentor taught me 20 years ago and I stand on that everyday. My professionalism speaks for itself. She needs around placed on a performance improvement plan for her attitude for the next 30 days if I managed her she would’ve had it already. Thank you!”
“It's the same price as the other hotels. All but they don't have breakfast and and when I'm in the regions of outdated but I mean, it's okay. They do have smoking rooms. So, you know, if you are a smoker, then I guess that's no impulse. If you're not then I guess doesn't matter, but I've had to stay here for a while. Well, I'm trying to find a place and they don't really have good rates for that. Very expensive, especially not at breakfast but it's alright, open my phone, please soon.”
“Park and food close by. The staff was awesome. R car was in the garage and the staff let us stay late in our room and then we swam till our car was fixed. Room was nice. Bring ur own ”
“The condo was as described and pictured. The view is amazing.
We had a 3/3 and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice that we had 3 cars and parking is free which you don't get at many condos. The digital information board was wonderful. They were very efficient if we had a problem (not anything big) and handled that day. Plenty of places to eat all around. We did not use any of the free stuff available as we just go for the beach, to eat, and have a good time.
The only drawback is getting to the beach. There are 13 steps up to the boardwalk, cross the boardwalk, and 13 steps down to the beach and then 72 steps to waters edge. Not handicap accessible. However, you can contact the City of Ft. Walton and they have free sand wheelchairs available from 9am to 4pm. They are not motorized, but easily pushed in the sand.
All around, it was a great trip and we would stay again.!!!”
