Update/remodel of rooms we found to be poorly designed with mini fridge and microwave placed inside cabinets at floor level and difficult to use by seniors, tv mounted on wall was good, missed the chaise in rooms on previous visit. Location was very good for our needs from shopping, family, base access, and entertainment. Was informed upon check out this location was being updated for change to a different chain. Remodel still in progress with some work noise. Overall a good visit and plan to stay again to try new chain based upon location and cleanliness.

Hello, I am going to say what I did not like this December 31, 2023, visiting my family, when I arrived at the hotel my wife could not accompany me this year, and I paid for a double room, and the manager only wanted to give me a single room, when I I had paid for a large room, the second situation when I woke up I go to get my breakfast and they tell me that there is no hot breakfast ?, only coffee ☕️, very bad experience on this trip, I hope what is happening improves soon

I am certain they will remove this review as it is certain that the positive review ratio is fake.You do not want to stay here. Zero service, Dirty, rude, no furniture or art in the room. There is a sign in the room that tells you what each item will cost you if you steel it. The room feels like a prison cell and the staff assumes you are a criminal and treats you accordingly. Unbelievable!Never staying in a HIG hotel if I can avoid it. Done!

I'm truly trying to be fair with this review, but it honestly has not been a great experience. On the day I arrive, it's clear they have construction going on (it happens - not a huge deal); however, I do wonder if that was ever advertised or communicated. Nonetheless, a day or two after check-in, I've been informed that I needed to change rooms so they can clear out the floor I was originally staying on (presumably for construction). All of this ultimately made it challenging to find parking at the location, inconvenient to have to change rooms, and they essentially closed down whatever breakfast bar they initially had set-up (which wasn't as impressive as what you might've expected). Furthermore, the cleaning service would honor the "do not disturb sign", so well that they might forget to ever check to see if it's been taken down the next day.The staff has tried to be courteous, and I'm willing to chalk it up to just poor timing, but this by far is one of my least favorite hotel experiences, due to all the factors. I can't say that I'd recommend at this time.

Worst service at a Holiday Inn I ever had. The frost desk took forever to show up. We had to go to another hotel because she was so rude. Such a long drive showing up late at night was hoping for some stress-free hotel. When she finally showed up she was chatting on the phone. Very disrespectful.

When I tell you this place is very nice and comfy, The only problem that I had was the chairs in the room, they were renovating so I pray they get new chairs! other than that, it was great, the staff was friendly, if you need some rest go get it, you, my friend deserve it!May God bless the rest of your trip. Worst experience ever. And I have stayed at plenty of holiday inn expresses due to my job. This trip was for leisure and the staff was rude all of the way around. The only one who was actually pleasant was the manager that checked us in. We immediately noticed that our room was not cooling down and notified the manager, he asked us to wait 10 minutes. It was still not cooling so we just decided to go ahead and go to the beach and go enjoy our vacation to give it a chance. When we got back, it was still so hot in the room. I notified the girl at the front desk, and she said it was motion sensored AC and it’s only on when there’s motion in the room. I asked her what happens when we’re sleeping, and she said it automatically comes on after 9. (Mind you, it’s 10:55) when I showed her the time, she rolled her eyes and grabbed her things and began walking to our room. We were on the first floor. She said to wait 10 minutes and if nothing is changing, she will change our room. So nothing happens, and we decide to change rooms and she tells us that there are no more double beds available and that she would have to move us to a king bed. I didn’t like this at all (we were losing a bed) but we had no choice. She said that they were out of key cards, so I had to give her the one that was on me. And when I asked her how to get back in the other one to get the rest of my things, she slammed down her hands and asked for the other key card back and then slammed the card on the card reader and slammed it back on the counter. And didn’t say a word. NOT TO MENTION, the next day, I had to check in and out because the second night was a rewards stay. The lady checking in was going to make us change rooms again and was pretty rude about it as well. I told her I was not moving. we only had 2 towels in our room they moved us too and I called the front desk to ask if they would bring us more, they argued that I would have to come get them. I asked them if they could leave them at the door and she just hung up on me. At breakfast, We had trouble with the pancake machine and the woman in charge of breakfast was rude too. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, and will never go back. Manager only offered points as an apology which we should have gotten refunded for our entire stay due to the unprofessionalism that was shown.

Everything was perfect The only issue I have, although it being a great feature for a hotel and is very energy conscious is that the AC does not stay on in the rooms unless there's movement and so the rooms did not stay. Very cool. Otherwise this was great., During breakfast, the employee that was taking care of the food and that was very very friendly. Staff was amazing so all around very great stay.Walkability: There are a lot of stores and walking distance along with a lot of great restaurantsFood & drinks: Breakfast was great. A lot of restaurants nearby if you don't want to eat at the hotel

Had a good stay, room was nice just a little outdated, only few miles from the beach, and breakfast was good! Also we received room service on day 2 which was a nice treat considering most hotels you have to request it.Rooms: Had both microwave and fridge, decent size, plenty of channels on tv, had body wash instead of soap bars for shower, bed was little harder than used to but pillows and comforter nice, pull out bed was nice (had to ask for spread from front desk for it), overall good especially for price
