Great location, right next to the Gulfarium and a short walk down the beach to the boardwalk. There was always parking and the staff was always friendly.
No complaints at all during my stay here.

First, this is an older property, so it could use a good renovation. But the room was acceptable. A/C worked well (very important). Bed was comfortable.
TV had a limited number of channels and they had a hard time keeping clean towels at the pool.
LOTS of kids running in the halls day and night.
Also, there was a gap around the lower half of the door that was big enough to slip my pinky in. This was a big security concern.
Breakfast was the 'standard' for Hampton Inns.
Brightest spots were Brianna at the front desk and maintenance man Charles.
Walkability: Several good places to eat within walking distance
Food & drinks: Breakfast and snacks are the only food available on site.
Tea and coffee are the only drinks

Great place to stay on the beach in Ft. Walton. Nice clean rooms. Great service.

The room was great with everything you might need. We had the ocean view which had a little balcony to sit on and watch the waves. Amazing access to the beach day and night with showers to help get the sand off. The breakfast is the morning is well stocked and delicious. The only negative, there is no laundry area for guests to wash clothes.

Unprofessional security lady with grey hair and an attitude. Threatened to throw me out of the hotel for calling the desk and asking for help with noise outside my room. Perhaps she condones noisy teenagers outside of rooms throwing objects at the building after 11pm. I'm not sure, but it's a very weird response from her. She also asked if should be in my room for curfew... I'm 40 years old and was in my room. Again, not sure what is wrong with this lady or what she is talking about. I won't be back. Beware of the old gray hair lady - she's in her own little confused world. ?

I recently stayed here for 5 days and I will absolutely be returning. I had crappy weather for a couple days while I was there on my solo vacation so I chatted with the staff often. Shantel was an absolute gem. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful when I asked a ton of questions about things in the area. My room was very clean and the housekeeping woman that I interacted with daily was also very nice. There was always a great selection of option for breakfast. The pool area is nice and the chairs are super comfy. Pool was also heated which was nice since it wasn’t really warm when I was there. is in an ideal location. Right on the beach and close to the pier, shops, and restaurants. They don’t offer beach chairs/towels for the beach like the other condos on the beach but there is a store in walking distance that sells cheap chairs for $12. The price of rooms were affordable and I really enjoyed my stay. Also, the bed was very comfortable, which is always important when you are on vacation and away from your own home.

Excellent breakfast. One of the best included hotel breakfasts I have had. Rooms are older but clean and well maintained. You are right on the beach and they have a very nice pool area.

A quaint little gem surrounded by large corporate condos. It is a little dated but still very well maintained. I had a beach view room, and it was so enjoyable waking up to that view every morning.
Staff is extremely helpful and very friendly and cheerful. Pet friendly.
Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars is from 2 minutes to 25 minutes, depending on what you are looking for. Active Military and Veteran discount.
It is an excellent value for a mid level hotel. Well done. ?
Rooms: Slightly dated yet, very clean. Would like to see more USB ports and 110 electrical plug-ins on the desk.
Walkability: 20-minute walk to The Boardwalk. I recommend walking on the beach. It is a very relaxing stroll.
Noteworthy details: Active Military and Veteran discount.

Hotel is in need of refresh and update. Everything feels crowded and stale. Staff was very friendly. Still right at the beach and near food, so pretty convenient.

The hotel and rooms are humid, out of date, and have no views of the water. Even the pricier rooms only see sand. It says private balconies, but it's sidewalk that everyone walks down. The breakfast worker is on top of it all and very sweet.

Great hotel. Rooms are small but nice. Access to the beach is public so it could be little busy

I was there for a few days and I really enjoyed my stay. The location is fantastic. I have never stayed at a hotel with a more friendly hard working staff. Breakfast each morning was amazing and a little different each day.

I loved having a balcony with an ocean view. Very peaceful at night because of minimal outside light and noise. The breakfast was filling and delicious. They have easy access to the beach, which was really convenient after a long day of cycling. We didn't have to go far at all to take in the views and sunset on the beach ?.
Walkability: They are located almost on the beach and they have a quick access to the water ?

Clean rooms, friendly staff, & private access to the vast white sand beach of Okaloosa Island! The balcony view was outstanding, the breakfast was delicious, and I got a great night's sleep. One mile from a Publix grocery store, and there are lots of restaurants with entertainment very nearby.
Highly recommended lodging in Fort Walton Beach.

Came in for the weekend didn't make any reservations and they were able to accommodate me even though it was valentines. Our room was 5 down from the beach and we could walk out from our room instead of going through the lobby. It was very enjoyable I'd highly recommend
