My dog had a spinal cord injury and they had a tech waiting for us on arrival and got us in to see the vet immediately. X-rays, bloodwork, and exam all done within the hour. My dog got pain meds and stayed the day for observation. The vet techs literally spent their lunch break giving her love and holding her paw. Thank you to the entire team of people (vet, vet techs, receptionist, etc) that kept me informed and treated my dog like their own. Their love for my dog is what made this terrible experience somewhat manageable. Thank you guys for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about this vet clinic! The vets and techs are not only professional but also incredibly caring and friendly. My dog, Riley, recently developed a seizure disorder, and my other dog developed a habit of attacking her during her seizures (because life can always get worse!), so it was a very stressful, difficult time, involving many medications, skin surgeries, drains, dressing changes, hospital stays, phone calls… Despite all of that, my dog loves seeing everyone at Companion and is never scared to go to the vet, which is unbelievable considering what she’s gone through. They truly go above and beyond for every animal and are all animal lovers themselves. I’ve never had a bad experience with any vet there and their communication skills are outstanding. Dr. Epperson and Dr. Hartley have taken care of my dog for years and are wonderful, even communicating with me about Riley during emergency situations when they aren’t in the office, which they definitey don’t have to do. Dr. Patel has seen Riley too and is also very caring and knowledgeable. My dog has been a frequent flyer, to say the least, and I’m always confident that she is in the best hands possible. Highly recommend! :)

We drive over an hour, each way, to bring our furbaby there because nowhere else has compared. Highly recommend!!

My grandmas dog was dying, we went to the vet and cleared some tests. Her dog had a tumor near her heart and wasn’t gonna make it. We left and came back home. The next day her dog was hardly eating and using the bathroom so we went back to the hospital. They had us sit outside in the hot sun for 10 mins staring and smiling at me and my grandma while her dog was dying on there front porch. Finally after we got inside they took us to the room that looked like a jail cell and instantly started explaining there “packages” like it was some kind of car sales lot. We needed her to be in peace. We were explained we were going into a room to put my grandmas dog to sleep. A few minutes later while giving the puppy loves and kisses the doctor comes in. We asked if we’re going into another room to put her to sleep and the doctor instantly snaps and asks if we want to do it in the LOBBY!!!! Of course not! So after the whole process we were heading out and one of the employees didn’t treat my grandmas dog of 20 years with respect. She practically much threw a dirty white used towel over her face. Disgusting. We were told they would call my grandma when the cremation was done and we chose a cute little red box. Well a week goes by and my grandma picks it up, it’s not the same box we got and it turns out it wasn’t her dog at all! This place is unprofessional and if I were you I would never bring my pet here if it was the last few moments to spend there time with.
In response after 3 years later. I still remember that day and how disturbing you guys treated Bama. I personally don’t believe excuses and sorrys will make her last moments on earth better. Those towels were not cleaned and they way one of your vets snap and asked to put her down in the lobby was so inhumane. Like I said, you’ll have so many excuses to make the situation sound better, and what I’ve seen was my grandmas dog dying on your front porch falling in your bushes while you were laughing and smiling inside. We were pleading to come inside of how hot it was for 10 mins. The room was uncomfortable and there was urns and of sorts on your shelves to see how much the prices were. Every single person who worked there needs there license taken away and I’m not over exaggerating. Hopefully you can look at this as a learning experience and never treat any animal like that again.
