Be aware of this business! They will use enough gas to make the gauge read below full to call you back out hoping you don't come so they can charge you the $35. Had to drive 45 minutes one way back there to put 2.7 gallons of gas in the truck to avoid the charge. Be aware!!!

Would give a zero if could. We made a reservation more than two weeks ahead of time. The day before our move, the reservation was cancelled due to no inventory. Why make a reservation? It might be logical to make sure there is a truck for a reservation made two weeks prior. Thanks Budget!!! You were right on time for our family!!

Terrible experience, dont rent from this location. I reserved a 26 ft truck online and this location added additional damage waivers and roadside charges after I specifically told them I did not want it. They will not listen to you when you speak.As if that weren't bad enough, I reserved a car dolly which they didn't have at their location, and had me drive out to another city to pick up my car dolly.Joe was helpful when explaining how to use the truck though, but avoid everyone else.

We made an online reservation to reserve a 16' truck and Waive other stuff like Insurance and road side assistance as this was only for a few hrs and a few miles. I told the same when I signed up during the pickup. But when I got a bill after 5 days from the drop date, they charged me for everything 35.99 -physical damage waiver and 12.99 roadside safety net .I called the customer service, put me on hold for 20 minutes and said they will look at it.DO NOT RENT especially from this location.They also called me for not filling up the gas though I filled up till I hear the click sound. So I went there and filed up barely 2 gallons again though it indicate the gas was full. I would never rent a truck from this Place ever again.

STAY AWAY from this rental. I signed up for a 16 inch truck online during this tough time. I waived all insurances and safety as it was only for a short mileage online. During checkout, we tried to keep away our social distance and have signed up for the truck. I thought it would match to all what I signed up online. The rep did not mention anything about the extra charges -insurances except for the gas. But after a week, I got charge for everything..safety hazard, insurance waiver etc. So be careful while signing up all the documents especially this location.

We made an online reservation to reserve a 26' truck one way, picking up from Fort Walton Beach (Dealer 325421) on January 24, 2020 and dropping off in Lawrenceville, GA (Dealer 300454). We picked up the truck as planned on January 24 at approximately 4:15 p.m. We took the truck to the first location and proceeded to load the truck. The next day (Saturday Jan 25), we attempted to head out to Atlanta and discovered that the truck wouldn't start. We called roadside assistance and they sent someone out to look at the truck at approximately 4:00 p.m. Roadside assistance indicated that the starter was dead. At approximately 6:00 p.m. we called Budget Truck to determine whether or not they had another truck we could swap out with as we needed to be in Atlanta ASAP. We called roadside assistance and was on hold for 74 minutes at which time a very rude supervisor named John R. came to the phone and told us that he could only speak to the person on the contract and that regardless, it wasn't his problem and there was nothing they could do as they needed approval from Budget Truck. We made another call to Budget Truck at approximately 8:00 p.m. at which time we were told that they were closed and that we would not be able to speak to anyone until Sunday Morning (Jan 26). Sunday Morning, At approximately 10:00 a.m., we were notified that there were no available trucks, therefore the moving truck that we rented would be TOWED from Fort Walton Beach, FL to Atlanta, GA (approx. 350 miles). The tow truck arrived and we proceeded to Atlanta at approximately 1:00 p.m. We arrived in Atlanta at approximately 8:00 p.m. (24 hours past our due arrival time). Due to the inoperable truck rental, the tow truck driver told us that he would have to drop the rental truck in the front of the house, we would need to unloaded the truck without being able to move the truck and then we would need to call Budget to come tow the inoperable truck. We unloaded the truck on Monday, Jan 27 and called Budget to come get the truck. We notified Budget that we had 2 additional storage locations in which we needed an operable truck to finish moving our household items. They brought us a different truck so that we could complete our move, however a move that should have taken 1 day, ended up taking 5 days. We called Budget customer service on Friday, January 31 to voice our concerns regarding this chaotic experience and was told that someone would call us within 72 hours. We received the below email and returned a call to Budget Truck on Monday, Feb 3. We spoke to Jason and he notified us at that time that our credit card had been charged an additional $426.76 on Feb 3, due to additional days being charged! He indicated that he would be able to refund the additional days as he saw in the notes that roadside assistance did not notify the receiving location the roadside delay. He also indicated that he could refund $90 of our original rental fee for any inconvenience your company may have caused. This is totally unacceptable!! As stated before, what was supposed to be a one day move with people waiting in Atlanta to help move our household goods, turned into a 5 day fiasco with myself and my son being the only people available to move due to your company not having a back up plan for mechanical issues. In my experience, engine starters do not just stop working all of a sudden. This leads me to believe that your vehicles are not maintained properly. In addition, I have read subsequent reviews that indicate that Budget Truck does not inspect their vehicles prior to renting. I understand that mechanical issues happen from time to time, however there should always be a back up plan in place for these situations. There should always be a swap out vehicle available so as not to inconvenience the customer as well as provide excellent customer service.

Ronnie and Joe go above and beyond for their customers. Our closing date kept changing, therefore truck date arrangements had to change, too. I was about to have a nervous breakdown! But these gentlemen were so kind and accomodating. Our truck was ready on the final date decided upon. I cannot say enough nice things about this Budget Truck Rental location. Thank you, Ronnie and Joe!

Horrible customer service and all-around experience. They did not have the equipment we had reserved and treated us like it was our fault! Instead of offering to remedy the situation they told US to drive around to different locations to find our car hauler! We will NEVER rent with Budget again! By the time we tracked down what we needed, they cost us the same (if not more) than the competition would have!

This was the worst customer service I've ever received. This was supposed to be my drop off location per my reservation, to drop off after hours. I received a “courtesy call†11 hours before my scheduled after hours drop off time and was told that if I dropped the truck off after hours that they would tow it and charge me the towing fee. This was a ridiculous experience. I immediately called budget customer service, explained the situation, and changed my drop off location to crestview. This place should lose their license for budget trucks. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone.

We tried multiple times to return our 26ft rental to this location. I was told that i couldn't drop it off because they didn't have space in their lot and to call some random employee later that night to schedule a drop for the next day. When I called Paul at 850-974-2544 he got an attitude with me and argued multiple times about dropping it off and tried getting me to drop it off at a random lot and when myself and my fiancé tried explaining to him that we were already trying to schedule this based on his boss's recommendation he told my fiancé that it was none of her business and that we were being rude and if we dropped the truck off that we would be towed. DO NOT RENT HERE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME. These owners don't give a crap about anyone but themselves. NEVER RENT AT BUDGET, ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION....
