This place is okay, I went here for a couple weeks for card game night! I really liked it. But they had a storage lot? I don't know how to feel about it, it was packed with random stuff?? The place also looks like it was good like 20 or so years ago.. But in general it is a nice place to go look at geeky stuff! (Edit: I saw the place shut down?? What happened?)

This place has definitely hit on hard times. Stock is aged

To run down, not enough stuff to look at. The old man who I'm guessing is the owner didn't have any old Sailor moon comics or pokemon comics.

In the 20 or 30 so minutes I spent browsing back issue comics, either the shop owner or manager at the time repeatedly berated one of the employees. Like "Are you working? I hear TV, are you watching TV? You better be working, you're the one that wanted this job!" Over and over, yelling it between rooms. It was unprofessional in front of customers and frankly I have no idea if that employee was watching tv or not because all I could hear were the super loud Tik Tok videos or whatever coming from the owner's office.

Great team of staff. Extremely knowledgeable and they're happy to help you find what you need. Reasonable prices, plus gaming tables set up.Came here on a whim a year ago, now a loyal customer and fan of RAK art print mini's by Robert! Can't find much of anything to say that's negative. Its usually very peaceful there and every customer seems respectful.Highly recommend Book and Game Emporium!

Ummm… my nostrils were bombarded by the wretched smells. Couldn’t even stay to look at the comics. But like for real it was like absolute garbage.

I've lived in Walton for 2 years, on multiple occasions I've attempted to go in the store, it seems that every time I do it's either closed or the person running it will "be back soon" I've waited over an hour before waiting for it to open back up. I do not know who's running this place but they must not want much buisness.

We stopped in just to look around to see what we could see. Wayne was jovial as well as incredibly helpful. He happily answered all of our questions and showed me lots of things he thought we’d be interested in. He also introduced us to the senior shop cat who’s deaf, blind, and very sweet.

Full of fun little treasures, and the staff are very friendly. It looked like there were some fun collectibles, older boardgames, and a nice selection of sci-fi novels, as well as some artwork and dice sets.

I primarily stopped by for comics, which are here but somehow not fantastic. The photos, and what I found from conversation with the owner, indicate that at one point comics and back issues were a highlight of the store. When I went, I primarily went in search of older DC and Marvel comics. Surprisingly, there is an entire room dedicated to back issues with a separate area with what appeared to be collections and what is usually higher end issues. What I found what unfortunately a high degree of disorganization, namely that someone or several someones have come through after the owner alphabetized things and just wrecked it. After about 20 minutes of browsing the short boxes I simply gave up... a large amount of things were out of place and I couldn't easily find what I was looking for. The owner gave me the impression that they had gotten out of the comic scene and transitioned primarily to TTRPG and other avenues of revenue. It's worth a stop if you're in the area, but you may not find everything you are after if you are a comic collector.
