My experience with Auto Motives LLC has been fantastic. Sam and Ellen went above and beyond to get me into a car that I always wanted and needed. I have pointed out one issue with the driver side view mirror to Sam and he went ahead and ordered me a replacement mirror and assembly. I've had my car for about a month and it still rides strong. Purchased a 2019 Nissan Rogue. During the preliminary overview of the vehicle it was never disclosed to us the buyers that this vehicle was in a side accident, that the shutter control system was removed completely or that the subframe bushings were completely shot. Test drove car on smooth road so bushing issue was not apparent until later on when driven on a ruff road. Apparently this used car dealership does not complete a receiving check list from whomever they received the vehicle from or they purposely withheld this information from a perspective buyer. In either case, buyer beware, definitely bring a qualified mechanic before purchasing especially a high dollar vehicle.

I got stationed here and needed an affordable car fast, knowing I was gambling by buying used. Less than a month in, the air conditioning goes out in the middle of summer. I thought it was low on coolant, so I decided to work on it myself. The refill canister gauge meter read full, so I drove back to the car lot. They worked on it for a little bit, but repeatedly said that I could’ve broke my own air conditioner for working on it myself. Why would they blame me when I told them it went out when I was on the highway? The dealership isn’t accountable for the AC, but the blame I got from them for a part going bad leaves me feeling exploited. (The main reason for the review). I went into an actual shop and they told me the compressor went bad. 1200 dollar repair. I was very naive about buying used cars. I should’ve paid attention to the simple things. Oil change and air filter was old. Figured I can do that. Upholstery was dirty and stained, still thinking I can fix it. I got a flat and had to use the spare tire, and that was flat too. If they don’t put time into simple maintenance, then what are they putting time into. If the car wasn’t ready, why would they still put it out on the lot? I’m the idiot that put so much time and money into trash and learned a valuable lesson. Trust your red flags. Research the car and get a Pre-purchase inspection with a professional.
