When I first started shopping here some 3 or 4 years ago you could get some amazing deals on cheeses. meats. fresh produce, eggs etc. Now it's knid of hit and miss. Ground beef is just as cheap at Aldi and block cheese is cheaper at Aldi. Coffee is cheaper at Walmart. Lemons are 40 cents a piece same as Aldi. Sometimes they will have produce that is very cheap because it's nearling expiration (sometimes starting to mold) but still salvageable if taken care of right away. Not as good of a place as it used to be. You just have to be lucky to be there at the right time when they have someting that's a really good deal. With gas prices now very high it's not hardly worth the trip up there to pay the same prices I can get from a store that is 3 minutes away instead.

United in poverty was created supposedly with the intention of helping people in need. Now it has become a making some one rich. Today day the prices are higher than the dollar tree store for items you buy there for a $1.00. Their products ,which are mostly off dated, half spoil cost more than anywhere out there. They rather to put them out in the garbage rather than lowering the price.Today I visit the location at orange avenue and 25th ave in Fort pierce florida and I saw a box of individual packages of chocolates power, smashed and half empty. which at the local Walmart cost 4.99 and it was on sale at the UP for 5.99. Thank you for helping us poor people.
