Purchased a boat from top notch marine wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy a boat from them

We had tried to sell pontoon with them. It was very hard to communicate with them either through the phone or email. They not really respond to the phone call or call us back. It took about 9 months to sell which we had to pay storage fees $100/month to them. We found out that we got offers but the Top Notch refused the offers but didn't let us know. We finally found the customer by ourselves and bought the customer to the place then we got charged for selling fee 10% also.

We had our first experience with Top Notch this week, and it won't be our last. We are new to the area and had a perplexing problem with our brand new Suzuki outboard that other techs had been unable to diagnose.When my husband first called Top Notch, he had to leave a message and expected never to hear back, as has been the case with most of the shops around here. Not so with Top Notch. Tara called him back quickly, was professional, knowledgeable, and got the boat in the next day. We were pleasantly surprised once again when she called back just a couple of hours later to tell us we could come get the boat because they had identified and fixed the problem.Customer service and competence like this is becoming rarer and rarer, and its refreshing to experience it. Top Notch has earned our business and we're telling our neighbors and friends to give them a try, as well.

Not sure why some people posted bad reviews, but the guys here were very nice and helpful, there was nothing wrong with my experience at Top Notch! I had am excellent customer experience here.As a first time boater/boat buyer, I visited multiple dealerships before making a decision, but only at Top Notch I felt confident with the purchase. These guys are honest, helpful, and explained different types of boats, engines, hulls, etc. I felt like I was buying my first boat from my uncle/friend, someone I can trust and rely on.The boat I bought took about a week or so to get ready for delivery, it was delayed for a few days because of Hurricane Ian. Overall, great experience and I highly recommend them.Some of my friends are also wanting to go and buy a boat from them in the future.Thank you Jim, Greg, Daniel and Cody! The receptionist too :) I forgot her name. You guys are great! Keep up the good work!

I was in need of a new boat trailer and I dealt with Jim in Fort Pierce and I have to say it was a very smooth experience he told me it might be three weeks but called to tell me he could get sooner in which he did transferred the boat and it was perfect. Very smooth experience:)

I brought my boat to serviced and the engine was not put together properly. I brought pictures of the issue and started I want to be refunded. The owner Jim immediately started to argue with me and they DO NOT stand by their work. I have been a boat owner 24 years and have never seen such a disrespectful owner and such a scurrilous operation.

Top Notch Marine is exactly the type of boat dealership you want to deal with: honest, forthcoming, and more welcoming than expected. I would have no problem trusting them with my boat which means I trust him with my family's safety. I came a long way to meet Greg Silvers in Florida and everything he told me about the boat rang true. I had a tight timetable for the boat test drive and Top Notch Marine had the boat fueled up, ready to go in the water. It was a very smooth transaction. The highest recommendation!

They are not top notch you're more or less than a quarter of a notch how would you know any customers name you don't even worry about them came into your store trying to get a part for a boat motor and you act like you did not even care to wait on me so why would you have my name if you don't even have the time to take care of a customer the correct way that's why you don't know your customers name cuz you don't care

I called this company and spoke to Jim at the fort pierce location asking if they could sell my 2003 KeyWest on consignment, he asked see pictures, after they were sent he said it would only sell for maybe 8k-8.5k because the seats weren't the original color and there wasn't enough seating. I had already done the research and knew it would sell for more so I chose not to do business with them. I did business with an honest, more reputable company and sold my boat for 16,500. In 3 weeks.

There’s a reason this organization Top Notch Marine has been in business for over 34 years. The owner Jim is very mindful of the importance of customer service. He does what he says he’s going to do and that’s all a customer can ask for. He sells quality products at reasonable prices even in these trying economic times. Customer service is a by product in most business these days. Thanks for not being status quo.

Great first boat buying experience from start to finish. Greg and the team at Top Notch were very friendly and quick to respond with any questions or concerns I had. Finance was easy and quick as she had everything ready before we arrived and the gentleman that took us out and demonstrated all the functions on the boat was very thorough and definitely took his time showing us the ropes. I would absolutely recommend them in the future, I mean I drove three hours from Jacksonville to purchase from them and passed a lot of boat dealerships.

Please stay away from this shop, horrible. Jim at Top Notch Marine was the sorriest salesman I have ever spoken with. Jim, you told me you have "35 years experience" and I don't know who you are selling boats to the way you talked to me. I wanted to discuss this boat pictured below and you told me that this ad did not exist and told me after asking about the advertised price which was 10,000 less than you quoted I must not be able to afford it... wow! Great sales tactic, I can't wait to drive 7 hours to get it now!

Stay away from this business if you looking to buy a boat!! The sales department (Jim) give you next to nothing in information on there used selection of boats. Outside yard people are nice while the inside sales and staff are rude, crude and worthless. Stay Away!!

My family purchased a Sea Chaser 22 Foot HFC at the Stuart Boat Show. Greg was great as explaining the features and keeping us informed on a delivery date. The purchase was a no brainer, great value. Daniel has been amazing with service as needed, going way above and beyond.
