I have traveled across this great nation of ours and I can honestly say this is my favorite Flying J. I am not a trucker, let one of those hard workers speak for the "professional driver" side. This Flying J has an incredible dining selection, is always clean and has extremely courteous staff.

Flying J is a clean convenience store with a wide selection of hot foods (pizzas, wings, macaroni and cheese, and so on) in addition to the Denny’s on site. Plenty of candy, sodas, energy drinks, and snacks, along with hardware and automotive care accessories. I look forward to coming back.

Fire stupid manager from night shift. Chbby spanish guy. He doesn't do his job. I asked to help me, but he sent me to self-serve, and continued to do janitor job, while there was no cashiers... I try to check out by myself, but still needed help. When I pointed out that his first duty to help customers, he came out with exclamation: - "oh, you one of those..." and stopped talking... yeah I am one of those "deplorable"...
If he doesn't want to do his job, helping customers, but loves janitor job, then switch his position to his favorite - janitor...
I pointed out, that I just left here almost $1000, he said it was not my money, but company... how stupid... it's not your business, I have my oun company, and even if driver bring the business to you, its his choice, not company...
If you didn't understand the basics of managed business, than leave the position for smarter people.

I always liked this location, but tonight I want to give a shout out to Hunter, he understands the true meaning of customer service. Pilot Flying J needs more employees like him.

Veteran driver here. I park my car here while on the road and it's never been a problem. But this time when I came back, there was a notice on my window that it was about to be towed. I want to point out that that there are a lot of homeless people living in their cars, pick up, and even a run-down RV on the lot. I don't take issue with it until you target the very people who put more money into your business than anyone! How are you gonna tell a truck driver they can't park their car there when they're working, but allow homeless people to take up residency in the parking lot? Pilot/Flying J always talks about how "truckers are the backbone of America", but when they can genuine help us out in little ways like this: just letting us park a car there while we work hard for America, they make things harder for us. We truck drivers spend money at these truck stops every day. We buy fuel, get our trucks worked on at these places, buy food and everything we need is purchased at truck stops. If it weren't for truck drivers, America would be cold, naked, hungry, and homeless. I'm done and I won't be back. I don't have to fuel at Pilot/Flying J, and I won't ever again. Flying J and Pilot have been going down hill anyway. And I also want to point out that they are also towing semis and dropped trailers. It's disgusting how they're treating the American truck driver.

I arrived at this place and I walked around looking for the disabled persons parking lot and there is nowhere and it is not marked as the law says. Then I park in the place to put on diesel and I go inside and ask a white American employee in English. Where were the parking spaces for disabled persons and he told me no, I told him, hey, you work here and he told me, park wherever you are, I replied that I have only one eye and that's why I'm a disabled person, I had a bad experience. The staff here is horrible and I left that place frustrated, I'll never come back there, that person doesn't know empathy, I'm sure she can't handle driving her personal car with just one eye.

???I came in yesterday, May 9th 2024. Shortly, I came in to take a shower -#10. As I started towards the showers the ☠ "fumes of GAS" ? got stronger... At first I thought, welp I'm here.. I thought if I got in the shower close the door I wouldn't smell it as bad.. Nope it got stronger and stronger! At this point I had HURRIED so quickly to jump n wash and get out.. I used a wet washcloth I brought to hold it over my face all the while trying to wash up N get out!!... I managed but I ended up getting sick with headaches and nausea.. I stayed outside getting fresh air and eating saltines and sipping on water.. I had to take Advil twice last night to relieve my headaches... after 4 hours I had to lay down n sleep..
5-10-24 930am i am still nausea, headache. I walked into the store, maybe it got fixed.. eat breakfast at Dennys...
NOPE!! GAS FUMES STILL STRONG INSIDE!
I asked employees if "they smelled it" their reply was "no" and walked away.. I wasn't able to stay n eat, but I went and got a coffee n at the MAIN COUNTER.. I said "do y'all smell that GAS" I was ignored, than I said it AGAIN louder.. when she heard what I SAID.. she turned around... I explained what happened last night and how I felt.. I wanted to ALERT them (Since I wasn't capable of doing it last night) to get someone from GAS COMPANY TO CHECK OUT THE LEVELS OF GAS FUMES IN THE AIR INSIDE THIS TRUCK STOP! I'm surprised NONE of the EMPLOYEES ARE SICK!!!
I spoke with the clerk, she said she would talk to someone about this ... I HOPE SO!
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT to BE IN, and EXPOSING CUSTOMERS TO BREATHE THIS IN!! I WON'T BE BACK.. BUT I HOPE THEY FIX IT FOR OTHERS!!!!!

Adrian was so energetic this morning but she had been there since 6 o'clock yesterday it was 05:00 Told her how much I appreciated her especially she looks like she just got there. Really appreciate these types of people helping us truckers out. Please take care of their facilities. They work very hard. The coffee was delicious. Thank you guys, really appreciate you. God bless America. What would Paul Harvey say about her? Probably really great things.

I have no idea who runs this joint at night but they need to be fired.. the staff is rude minus the Denny's, the Subway attendant was lazy and refused to pull out the Marinara to make sandwhich... Meanwhile no one has checked the reserved parking to see what's available so nothing is "available" and if you're trying to get a shower good luck 15 guest waiting and no one is cleaning them..
