First, we would like to start by saying we have tried for over 8 years to work with Jim Childs Tax Service to resolve the absolute disaster that they created for our company. In 2013 Evalinda Childs did not submit the tax paperwork required on time and the IRS has, in turn, fined our company for Evalinda's error. Because of their late filing, our company has to pay over $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars) to the IRS. This is a battle, that as our accountant / tax service, they should have fought for us. We reached out so many times without a return call or email. Evalinda's office staff even hung up on us today as we were trying once again to get Evalinda to help with this matter. This is nothing less than unethical and horrible business practice! Evalinda has thrown us to the wolves and left us to fend for ourselves after we have paid for her full, "professional" (and we can use that word loosely now for this company) service! It is only after 8 long years that we are writing about this because we were attempting to give them a chance to amicably resolve this issue. Hanging up on a customer that you have done as wrong as they have us is unacceptable to say the least. Our company is forced to take whatever means necessary, including writing to regulatory agencies, to try to get Evalinda and Jim Childs Tax Service to get off their duff and take care of the mess that they created. There is no justification for our company to be penalized for something that we have paid handsomely for them to take care of. The request we are making is to have Jim Childs Tax Service resolve this matter once and for all with the IRS. If they cannot do that, then we are requesting that they pay this fine since they feel it is not important enough to bother with. Thank you for your time.
