This is always my favorite hotel to stay at in Fort Pierce. So many of them around here are disgusting and have roaches or bed bugs and stains you don't know where they came from. BUT every time I've stayed at this hotel it's been fantastic. The staff is always prompt and quick with check in regardless of when I come (like late nights), the rooms are always clean and without sketchy stains, the staff cleaning are always respectful and helpful along with being sweet. I appreciate the amenities here too as their pool is clean and heated (not hot though) though I wish they had a jacuzzi. The parking lot can get full pretty quickly with semis if you show up late so beware there. But the outside is beautiful and always comfortable far enough away from the highway and street for a quiet sleep too.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! We stayed there last weekend, came with a car club of 25 cars, 48 people. The staff treated us like royalty! Everyone was so pleasant (unusual in this day in age), they had reserved parking for us, the rooms were clean and the beds were ultra luxurious! Kelsie, the Director of Sales, took care of our every need. We will definitely come back each year to attend the annual car event and look forward to staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt the need to do so for this place. I cannot get over how wonderful everyone was.

Our room was on the first floor. Hallway was quiet. Room was very clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Bed was comfortable. Location was close to Turnpike and I-95. Lots of food options in area as well. Check in and check out staff were polite and professional. Will definitely stay here again.

Would not recommend ever staying here customer service sucks. My boss left his Apple Watch in his room and asked me to pick it up for him as he was already on his way to the airport and they would not let me pick it up until house keeping will arrive. Plenty of time for it to come up "missing"

I was traveling with my family from Georgia to South Florida. I stopped at this Holiday Inn Express late in the evening after being on the road for about nine hours. My grand plan of driving straight through quickly dissolved, after we drove through thunderstorm after thunderstorm, and after listening to my wife warn me of brake lights three miles ahead of me every two minutes. I pulled into the Holiday Inn Express to grab a room and get some well needed rest. The desk attendant told me they had a room and I proceeded to provide my information. To clarify the context... I had my wife, 13 year old son and my 18 year old son with me. When the attendant learned we were a party of three people over 18, he said I would be required to purchase two rooms as they do not allow more than two people over 18 to stay in one room. Needless to say I told him this was ridiculous and I had never encountered this rule at any other Holiday Inn Express... ever. We have traveled to the west coast and back five times and up and down the east coast and we only stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Never have we encountered this problem.I pleaded with the guy, explaining my circumstance. He refused, but did agree to call the owner. The clerk explained my situation, but that person also refused to allow my family to stay at their establishment. After being extremely disappointed by this Holiday Inn Express, we continued on our way and found another one that doesn't have difficulty using reason and logic when making decisions on who they allow to stay at their hotel.I love staying at Holiday Inn Express. They are generally clean and friendly. But honestly, I wouldn't let my dog stay at this one...To the proprietor of this Holiday Inn... read the room.

From the breakfast to the friendly staff, you cannot beat this location. Despite the elevator being broken, which is out of everyone’s control, I found my stay to be very enjoyable. The Wi-Fi here is really good and the location is in proximity to several dining options. The room was clean when I arrived. Also, they give you dove products for soaps, which really surprise me. Last, but not least, the refrigerator was adequately sized and the room, came equipped with a Keurig coffee maker.Rooms: It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, you get a Keurig, coffee maker, and a microwave and a good sized mini fridge.

We always use Ft. Pierce as a halfway point for our trips to Key West, this time we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and we were pleasantly surprised. About 20 minutes after we settled into our room Susan called from the desk to make sure our room was satisfactory (it was). It was a great stay and our room was extremely clean. Breakfast is your typical hotel continental breakfast, bit as someone who enjoys a low carb lifestyle the bacon and turkey sausage were a plus for me!

Every few months I drive up to Ft. Pierce from Fort Lauderdale to visit an elderly relative and I prefer to stay in a hotel. I have stayed in this hotel 4 times and every time it is perfect. The check in is super quick and easy, it usually takes about 2 minutes. The receipt gets slipped under my door in the middle of the night so in the morning I simply hand the front desk my key card and walk out. The rooms are very tasteful and completely clean. The beds are super comfortable and I feel the pillows and linens are on the luxurious side. I have never seen anything dirty, outdated, or unkept anywhere on the grounds. Although this hotel is on the main road and not in the most interesting area, like many other nearby hotels, I always feel very safe here and have not had any issues inside or in the parking lot. The breakfast is wonderful as well. Today there was pancakes, bacon, turkey sausage, omelets, fruit, yogurt, three kinds of cereal, cinnamon buns, apple juice and orange juice. I may have missed a few things. Note: I used to date a man that did not eat pork and we went to a lot of hotels. He was very disappointed that so many of the breakfast items included pork. Fortunately this hotel has many options for vegetarians or those that do not eat pork. There are definitely cheaper hotels in Fort Pierce, but their reviews are a bit scary, so I prefer to pay the money for the Holiday Inn Express and know exactly what I am getting each time.

I've stayed here for a number of years. The staff is always pleasant and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast in the morning definitely helps start your day. Their bed and pillows are very comfortable although I am having an issue with my neck and back, it not them it's me. The one issue I had last night was getting up multiple times to adjust the thermostat several times only to figure out it doesn't go below 68. When you live in South Florida and suffer from extreme heat flashes at night this can equal to a restless night. Again, its my problem not theirs. I will continue to stay here when visiting family.
