It's definitely worth going out of the way to visit Carter's Grocery. Excellent Dine-in, take out restaurant. They also have hardware, fishing equipment, even guns & ammo available for purchase.

Love stopping in for tamales with a side of salsa whenever my travels take me out Orange Avenue. Best tamales around! Moist thick flavorful exterior, tender meat inside. So good!
