Horrible experience. As soon as I walked in the lady at the first desk had a attitude “what are you laughing at?” I ignored it and continued to try to rent the truck but she made the process difficult and awkward with her mean facial expression and slick remarks. I wish I could give 0 stars because she didn’t have to behave like that.

Called location on Tuesday they told me I had a truck and all I needed to do was show up. I got a reservation number as well. I showed on Sat morning and they dont have my reservation on file and they dont have the 16' truck. Representative said I would have to call 800 number. Called 800 number and they said my reservation dropped because I did not provide a credit card. They made a new reservation for 16' truck and said it would be at the same location but that it wouldnt be there until 10AM. As the truck was going to be at the same location I asked the reservation agent to please verify and she confirmed the truck would be there. Went back to the same place, talked to the same person and she told me they did not have a 16' I asked if they would call the person who had the truck and they would not.

I was here for a total of two hours... There were 3 staff members and yet still nothing was getting done. Poor service felt like she was trying to ignore me the while time and treated me like I was stupid. Will never rent a truck or car from here again!

Had to wait over 1 hour to return a truck. The website shows the office open at 1 AM and door shows 10 AM and the guy showed up at 10:30. Computer was down so no printouts were made. Find another company to rent from!!!

Public Service Announcement!! Do Not Rent Any Trucks from Budget!! They have busted a** trucks, and their customer service is just as terrible, if not worse. My husband and I rented a truck in Irving, TX, headed to Sebring, FL. Of course when we got the truck it appeared ok, just a few minor scrapes, and a taped up side mirror (this was a bad sign). When got to Louisiana it started to rain. After about 15 min, both my husband and I started feeling steady drips of water come in above our heads. As the rain poured harder, the more water started coming in all around the inside of the truck. My husband and I were both soak and wet and we hadn't even been outside of the truck! Once we stopped for gas, I telephoned "Roadside Assistance" (prepare to wait forever!!), they were not helpful, nor empathetic to our issue. The lady told me I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for someone to come "patch" up the holes inside the truck. After explaining to this person that we needed immediate assistance due to time constraints, she hung up on me and didn't try calling me back. So finally, we make it home. Thank God! We get the truck unloaded and go to drop off the truck. My husband and I explained to the attendant that this truck was a piece of s**** etc. He told us to call customer care to see about getting compensated for our troubles. We did, and the woman I spoke to in "customer care" was far from "caring" about "customers". She listened to my complaint and only offered us a lousy $100 refund. Of course, I'll spend all of that to rid both me and my husband of our colds we got getting rained on in the truck. She offered no apology. No concern. Nothing! I urge you not to rent from Budget. Don't be fooled by their cheap prices and the fact that they are a large, well known company. They want your money for their b******* trucks. You'll be sorry...cause we sure were. You get exactly what you pay for with Budget and nothing else!! The rating I gave to them (1 star) is really too much. They deserve a triple "thumbs down"!! #budgetsucks
