Avis preferred is the way to go. Shipping the line and going directly to the rental car location is a plus, and it's free to join. Why anyone would stand in line in 2024 is beyond me. The price is unbeatable, and the choice of vehicle is awesome. Clean new nice vehicle available. Not that old shabby vehicles you get from those other guys, including name brand companies, not just off airport companies. Nice clean, beautiful cars.

If I could give zero stars I would believe every negative review it’s the truth about this location they need to shut it down . Made a reservation for no reason & get there for her to tell me they have no cars but cars were outside parked so I wasn’t understanding but anyways Then she claims she didn’t see my reservation in the computer which I felt like she was being funny about. What’s the point of you having an extra pair of eyes (glasses) if you act like you can’t see . & the lady just seems like she hates her job like she is there for a check no compassion about her job . Shut this location down please . It’s USELESS

Absolutely disgusting!!!Just picked up Avis car , to go to Oralando airport. Car has about only 1/3 gas , it has been heavily smoked in , and still food particles all over the shifter. It has not been fueled up, has nit been cleaned inside out . It is absolutely disappointing & it can cause asthma attack on healthy people!!!

If I could leave 0 starts I would. Don’t waste ur time going here . Made a reservation they charge my card ahead of time and they didn’t have the vehicle. This People are a waste of time.

Very nice people behind the counter, but absolutely zero support from corporate. If you book a car online DO NOT expect them to have one available when you arrive to pick it up. This is not good when you spend $24 on Uber to get you there and then are asked if you could wait 2 hours for a car that might (or might not) come in. On another note, I arrived 15 minutes early to return my car and no one showed up until 12 minutes after they opened. Again, very nice person showed up and took the keys - while I was on the phone with corporate.

I went to return my vehicle and they made me keep it and charged me for an extra day after they said they weren't. They had been shut down by code enforcement and had a sign that said back in 15 min for days. People were waiting outside for hours trying to return their cars. Just a mess. Never again. I had to leave the car there and somebody from another location had to come to my job and get the key. Worse experience ever. I wish we could leave negative stars. They hardly even had any cars to rent when I went to pick up mine. Customer service is just a bad

Rent at your own risk. Customer service is terrible. You will be lucky if you get a clean car. I had to swap of the first car because the alignment was so bad. I was told by one of the limited staff members that the cars come from the airport, so she is unaware of any mechanical issues. Very dangerous! Upon returning the car, no one was there to open on time. Can not believe this place is being ran like a jet ski rental office. This was my second and last time renting at this location.

We rented a car and when we got there the lot was full of cars and the agent said the only thing available was a ford Ram pickup. I am a 72 year old women and have difficulty getting into a pick up truck!!! What is the deal if the lot was full of cars? Very disappointed. When you see all the reviews they are all unsatisfactory and the Avis Car Rental response is “I’m sorry “ and seems nothing has changed. Every review is awful. Never again.

Warning- you're subject to credit approval prior to renting their vehicles, which is something the black female employee doesn't tell you upfront. She just guarantees that you can rent a vehicle with a credit or debit card and has you make a reservation. I was turned down for a rental after making that reservation, and my card was still charged. They will never have to worry about receiving any business from me ever again.They need to close down and/or get rid of that trifling employee.

Really bad service. They don't answer the phone. We forgot something in the car. But they will not answer the phone, there is no fort Pierce location on the lost and found Avis website, and the representative in the main line is telling me to go back there. But I returned the car didn't I? So how will I go back there? They don't have that much work at the Fort Pierce location why can't they answer the phone? Overall I think Avis has really bad service. The lost and found phone number only has automated options.So the owner told me to DM them, but where? There's no DM option on Google maps review.

The Avis in Fort pierce is the worst I made my reservations all the way back in February I even came back a week ago to make sure that my reservation was still valid and I hadn’t forgotten about my reservation they told me that they would have my car now I need to go pick up my car an hour and a half away at the airport.
