This Pet Supermarket in North Fort Myers had not one customer in the store when I arrived at 4:45 pm. First red flag. I was given a lukewarm greeting, got what I needed, and went to the register. I stood and waited while two associates were in a deep discussion about fish. I would have been there forever if I hadn't of said something. I asked for a $50 gift card and he said there were no envelopes (it's Christmas!) then I asked for a gift receipt and he couldn't figure it out. He ended with "well it's on your receipt". I spent $73 in there and I feel iffy on the gift card because this guy was clueless!

Purchased dog food from the North Ft. Myers store and it had bugs in it. Do not purchase food from this store. I have never ever had this happen. I purchased the bag of food in April and went back in October and there were bugs in the food again.

Customer service was crappy they wanted to be argumentative when confronted about a mistake that they made with a pallet of food The sticker price was $14 when I got to the register it was $48 ask the manager to give it to me for sticker price he argued with me about it and he said try to make me give for that Price

The staff are personable and actually help you. They are knowledgeable about their products. The store is clean and I feel comfortable bringing my dog with me.

Amazing local pet store that has a variety of items that I return for every few weeks. They have animals which they seem to take incredible care for. Some pet stores really don't seem to keep everything clean and tidy, but you can tell these animals are loved and shown plenty of affection from staff. They all seemed healthy too! The staff seem to be well aware and capable of answering any questions that you may have. The food is top notch and the prices are all very affordable. It's managed well and staff keep the place organized and easy to browse. Highly recommend if you have a furry friend.

Great pet store! Staff are caring and know us by name. Store Manager knows the pets the store sells. Also grateful small rescues can set up at store.

Pet Supermarket is your average, small, chain-store selling pets and pet supplies. In addition to a modest fish section, they have a handful of adoptable cats, some bunnies and guinea pigs, several bids, and a small reptile section. The animals seemed to be generally well taken care of. What makes this Pet Supermarket stand out from others in the area is their selection of hermit crabs -- we counted at least six hermit crabs in the enclosure, all of them were active and healthy, which is always a good sign. I don't have any dogs, but I loved looking through the carefully decorated dog cookies (and birthday cakes!) that we're near the register. I also had a polite conversation with the employee at the register about celebrating his dog's birthday.

Great pet store with really friendly staff! All my animals love this place! All sorts of rodents and little furries, birds, cats, quality food and supplies. Lots of parking and tons of room inside. Not much pricier than any other pet supply store and decent selection too.

I stopped by this store looking for a specific brand. While I found the brand, they did not have the two items I wanted. So I had to go to another pet supermarket which was a few minutes drive from this location. I wasn't too thrilled on doing that but I did anyway and in the end I got what I wanted. I do like this pet store because they sell their products a lot cheaper than Petco. In here you will find all kinds of pet supplies and pet food for dogs, cats, fish, birds, etc. They also have small live animals for sale like ferrets, birds, and guinea pigs. They also offer low-cost vaccinations for dogs and cats. The store is well-organized and the sales people were nice and helpful. Be sure to sign-up for the VIP program that tracks your pet food purchase so you can get a free bag on your 10th purchase.
