Don't bother going to the run shoppe I went there to buy a pair of Hokas and couldn't get waited on the lady working there totally ignored me .

Getting back into running and desperately needed new shoes. Even the lovely lady at the shop rightly called my old shoes cloddhoppers. (I do suggest bringing in your old shoes for them to see the wear pattern on the soles.) The lady at the shop was very enthusiastic and helpful. She quickly helped me select an amazing pair of running shoes. It's a nicely arranged, clean shop that's in the corner of the Publix shopping center next to Pott's. It is not visible from Six Mile, but Google will provide good directions.

Shopping at local family businesses is important to me. I chose to come here over other big box stores, but little did I know I was going to get way more value out of spending my money here. When I walked in I told the gentleman what shoes I liked in the shoes that I wanted to try, after he measured my foot and did some walking test to see how my foot works as I walk. Then he pulled four different shoes off the rack, two different brands and two different models of each brand.I feel like I went back to the old days when people took time to talk to you and make sure that you have the right product you’re looking for. I can’t describe how rare genuine customer service and good shopping experiences nowadays. I found it here, it was so refreshing to have that. I don’t remember the gentleman‘s name but he’s very kind, had long hair and he was awesome to work with. Thank you so much. You have a new customer for life. I’ll send everyone I know here.Btw I now have the MOST comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Thanks!

We have bought walking shoes several times from this store but today was above and beyond a great experience. The gentleman helping us was incredibly knowledgeable. He has my husband try on the newest version of existing shoes and then had him try several more that were similar. He clearly explained what the differences were. We will be back for sure!!

I was in search of a specific model of Hoka shoes (Bondi 8’s), as Hokas are the most comfortable/cushioned shoe I have ever worn, and I was in need of a pair for walking and long periods of standing at work. Have had bad experiences buying shoes online recently, so definitely wanted to try them on without the hassle of shipping. The Run Shoppe is right around the corner from me, so I decided to check them out. Steve greeted me, and even though he didn’t think he had the model in the color I wanted, he took the time to look and found that he did indeed have them. Steve helped me try on the shoes to make sure they were a proper fit — I ended up going with a half-size larger than what I normally wear… always try on clothing before you buy! (Thank goodness I decided not to order online again.) Steve was very knowledgable about the shoes, and all my questions got answered. The price was comparable to what the manufacturer was charging, which was the icing on the cake for me. Great service and selection — will absolutely come here again for my walking/running needs.

This is a terrible business. No loyalty to customers. And no returns. I suggest you shop somewhere else. Poor customer service at this location

I'm so happy that I found this store. Best experience I've had looking for shoes. Very helpful people that offer great service and selection. Make this the first place to check when you shop for running (and walking) shoes.

My doc sent me to this store. He also told me that the staff would measure my foot so I could have the right shoes, what didn’t happened. I took a look online and the return police is 30 days so I thought if I purchase it at the store would be easier to return in case I need it.so the employee also told me that I have 30 days to return it but he never mentioned that it was a store credit. I just lost $160 because I can’t wear the shoes

I stopped into The Run Shoppe with my father while visiting him in Fort Myers...I had just been at a different shoe store where I wasn't impressed with the selection...it also took about 10 minutes to be greeted in that store. When I walked into The Run Shoppe we were quickly greeted by Amber who helped find my father the right shoe for his goals and sized him up perfect. Amber was very knowledgeable, polite and fun to talk to. I will be back next time I'm in town.Have a good run Amber, thanks for your help!

I don’t know who she was, skinny little blonde? Sorry if that’s offensive? I should’ve asked her name! But I came in 20 minutes before closing and she acted like we had the whole day to figure things out! It was like the Christmas Miracle Movie where Santa sent customers to Kohl’s for a better price. She sincerely just wanted to help “Me” even if it meant sending me to Walgreens for inserts because I had to wear uniform shoes for work. I left but stopped in the parking lot to Google her advice, because she was so nice! Luckily I made it back in before she closed to buy the inserts she’d recommended (a step above Dr. Schrolls) and came home to finish checking my emails from the weekend. I’m battling a back injury right now and not able to sit so I have to stand to work! I put the inserts she sold me in my favorite black flats and have been checking my emails and cleaning every since. Still using my “grabber” (from Walgreens btw so this is not a post against them!) but my mobility and confidence level are greater than they have been in weeks! My new favorite store! When I’m able to run I will be getting a pair of Brooks running shoes here!
