Stay away from this T-Mobile store. Super unhappy with some of the shadiest salesmanship I’ve ever encountered. Went in to T-Mobile at Gulf Coast Town Center to trade in for a new iPhone, was given a few sales pitches for accessories (like buying a new case and paying half up front and financing the rest…) I hate it but have no problem listening to the pitch and politely declining. I got my new phone in hand as I left with the box and receipt in a bag. Only when going to throw out the bag today, 2 days later do I see a usb c charger block in it. My first thought was “oh, they included a charger block with my purchase.” I don’t need it, have a bunch already and had declined any accessories but something didn’t feel right as I looked at the $19.99 + tax sticker on it. So I pulled out the receipt that had been folded up twice and snuck into the bag by the same salesperson. Sure enough, the charge was there for $19.99 and tax. Not once was I told I was making this purchase or made aware it was even on the bill. Thinking back on the experience I only recall the salesman saying “everything today comes to $xxx.xx” so I guess he was able to cover himself instead of saying “the total today for the phone is $xxx.xx” but whether or not this is legal has nothing to do with it, the fact that it’s a $19.99 charger has nothing to do with it. The practice of sneaking items into a customer’s purchase is why I had to sit down and write this long review.I know I can go return it, but I live over an hour away and I don’t know if I will be back in the area before my unauthorized purchase return date expires…For anyone reading, you can look this up on the T-Mobile Reddit, evidently not an uncommon practice for their salespeople and I am sure it comes down to management pushing for accessories quotas or something… really pathetic

I'm trying to decide if Christian is completely incompetent or just a cheat. After lying about my phone not working due to age and the techs convincing me it can't be fixed, I grudgingly purchased a new iPhone 14. Only the same problem happened with the new phone. Turns out the issue was ALWAYS T-Mobile and the plan they'd had me on. Easy fix for those who aren't morons. Only cost a $70 restocking fee. $70 for listening to "the experts". T-mobile cheats it's customers

They offer broadband Internet in my neighborhood. So excited! Was easy to set up.. Great service! Great Internet speed! Great streaming.. no interruptions like with Xfi-ty (half the price)... No upsales. No pressure. I cannot tell you how DELIGHTED we are to have T-Mobile locked in

It's a phone store. 2 days in a row with the same problem, they suggested going to best buy and paying three GeekSquad to help.

Needed a home internet unit replaced. They took care of everything. Including swapping the sim card from the old unit to the new one and setting the new unit up on my cell phone. Amazing staff.. both knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Not all T-Mobile stores are like this one. Told me they’d give me $500 for my iPhone trade in without even looking and the deal clearly said 999. I chuckled and walked out knowing exactly why they said that. Kid went in the back probably to talk to the manager and it was 7 o’clock they close at 8. Probably didn’t want to work anymore at that point. Phone in perfect condition. And all because I didn’t want to get another line I simply don’t need. So I went to a different location, gave me 999 for my phone and I got an upgrade for free.

Elizabeth was so kind to me because my phone got loss when I was relocating to Saint Augustine the same morning that my movers were moving me so needless to say I had a melt down at T-Mobile store in Estero Florida and she gave me a big hug and said I got you and I will help you!!!! She has the best customer service I have ever seen and the manager at that store was awesome to me also!!!! I have been a customer with T-Mobile for 15 years and this is why I am still your customer!!!! Elizabeth needs to be recognized for what she did for me and it was quick and I got a new iPhone 12 but now I have insurance on my phone!!!!!Kudos to Elizabeth and Thank you for all the hugs and your compassion during this difficult time for me with relocating with my job of 24 years !!!!!!!SincerelyTina Howanstine

Went in to turn in my trade in phone, as I had purchased a new plan online. I received a text telling me that I could return my phone in store, however when I got there not the case since I did the process on the phone and the mid ID number was a digit off due to the customer service person entering it incorrectly. Waste of a trip, not sure why the store can’t accept the return and I need to ship it back directly myself. Why would this be? It’s like 2 separate companies that can’t communicate with each other. Really regretting signing up with T-mobile from Verizon! I hope you improve your processes before you lose customers!
