I had 3 electric hurricane screens installed this week. The installers were Johnny and Louis. I cannot thank them enough for the great job they did on installation and explaining the use of the product. I have 3 dogs, and they were very conscientious about the gates and doors being open. They showed up when they said they would, and made sure the jobsite was cleaned up at the end of both days. They set a high bar for other installers to compete with. Between them, and the quality of StormSmart’s products, I couldn’t be happier.

Why does an existing customer have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get an appointment for a service call?Storm smart scheduled me for this week. I appreciate the quick response to my post.

When I decided to upgrade my home with new shutters and windows, I chose Storm Smart, and I'm so glad I did. Yes, it was a significant investment, but the quality of their work and the value they delivered have made it completely worthwhile.From the very beginning, Curt, our sales representative, was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He took the time to understand our needs and guide us through the decision-making process without any pressure. His excellent communication kept us informed and at ease throughout the entire project.The installation at my house was handled by Yasmany and his helper, and I can't say enough good things about their work. They were meticulous, skilled, and respectful of our home. They kept us updated at every stage, from the initial measurements to the final touches, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free.What's even more impressive is that Storm Smart is currently working on my mother's townhouse, and they're delivering the same high level of service and expertise there too. It's wonderful to see such consistency and dedication across different projects.If you're considering enhancing your home with shutters and windows, I wholeheartedly recommend Storm Smart. While it's a significant investment, the peace of mind and the beautiful results are absolutely worth it. I'm truly grateful to the entire Storm Smart team for their remarkable work on both our homes.

So the saga continues....please ( in my opinion) look for an alternative in SW Florida for your hurricane shutters, finally got my service appointment, the fourth time someone actually came, this has been going on for a year. I was having trouble with 1 shutter not always responding to the ap. So they sent a tech out with a new hub and never, not once did either tech discuss the price of the new hub. Then I get the invoice and , a phone call later I ask for my old hub back but it is probably too late! So I am stuck paying the bill I will not recommend them to anyone! The shutters are great but the poor customer service aggravation (in my opinion) is not worth it.

If you are expecting a timely project. I don’t recommend this company. Ordered 13 windows was told installation was going in November of 2023. Didn’t get them installed until January 2024. Plus the installers damaged one window here it is the end of March and no word on replacement

Storm Smart is great when installing but once they have you as a customer, good luck getting service!!! We have had two appointments and both have been cancelled at the end of the day. Yes! We scheduled someone to come out and they tell you they will call you 30 mins ahead. So you get to sit around waiting from 8-5. Not only did they not call, we called to find out the technician was unable to come out. Took 2 months to get each appt! January and as first and today, March 8th was second. The WORST customer service. So here we are: today another appointment canceled and our shutters not fixed. Beyond disappointed. Had I known how terrible their service was, I would have used another company. Horrible!

4 reschedules, and each day we were informed at the end of the day that the workers are not coming and we would have to reschedule. This business has absolutely no respect for their customers and their time.

Great job by Brandon B. He was professional, polite, and worked diligently to complete installation of our hurricane shutters in our lanai area. The shutters look great while down providing shade, privacy, and protection. When shutters are up they blend into the colors of the walls.

I must admit that it was frustrating to wait 3 weeks for my repair, however, Lori did a wonderful job of staying in touch. Dylan and Lucky arrived on the expected date and when they could not complete the repair that day, Dylan contacted me to come the next day. They went above and beyond. Thank you for the great service.

So disappointed with follow through. Some technical details and then wrong screen color installed. No one bothered to contact us after many emails, texts and phone calls to the company. Not sure how that type of action allows them to stay in business

DO NOT HIRE STORM SMART! that is my advice to anyone even considering it. We were promised so many things and none of it was accurate. I ordered my windows they said 20 weeks.. okay no problem, it was almost double that. They said they don't outsource, that was a big thing for me personally, well they just happened to start doing that right before my windows were put in but I as the client was never informed, and the random companies hired, were here all day trying to sell me whatever there company was, one was painting, one was flooring etc. I had a door added, the salesman told me they would do the molding and such inside and make sure it was finished it was not, after windows and doors were put in, 2 of them were severely scratched and told us 6 weeks, it's been 6 months and it took me going to the office to complain to get them back only to find out they only ordered one. A MONTH AFTER THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ALREADY ORDERED! today, they said they were told to "buff it out" btw it couldn't and now another 4-6 weeks of waiting. Yet they are asking for payment. Now, I also had a HUGE LEAK IN MY BRAND NEW WINDOW to the point I needed to replace the drywall and my entire flooring because of that leak. My floor started to buckle and warp.so yet again cost me another $6000 to buy all new flooring. Because we have click connect and you cant just take a "piece"of it. I am beyond agitated and the woman at the office is rude and acts like she didn't know anything etc. Yes, I spoke to her myself months ago and said it would be taken care of etc. It has not been. I texted pictures videos etc to the vp as well. Now mind you I have a 3 year old autistic child and that door that had things sticking out and had gaps, which was super safe for him . He got his toe stuck in between the wall wand the door frame and he is non verbal so that was great. I had a double transplant and now have to try and deal with all of this stress on top of healing from a 10+ hour surgery. So thank you storm smart. Atleast I know what NOT to look for when hiring companies who promise everything you want just to make a sale. And for those of you wondering, no, there is no compensation, and we had to pay to re do our floors, paint and molding ourselves because this company couldn't be bothered! If I could rate negative stars, I absolutely would. Take it from me, if you are looking for windows, take your money and run!

If you like communication from a company you've hired, don't go with Storm Smart. I signed a contract on August 10, 2023. Just finished about 6 months later. Contract estimated installation starting October 16. I heard nothiing from them. I emailed, called, left messages, even went to Home Depot kiosk where they sell. I finally got through and it appeared they forgot about me. I received a call in December saying they would be installed. Afterwards, they had to be inspected. After 5 weeks I called to ask when that would be. Again, appeared they forgot about me. After my call, they were inspected the next week. After inspection they needed to be trimmed. I heard nothing so finally called. They were finished a couple weeks later. Have no problem with the product, but their customer service seems atrocious.

They are still experiencing some communication issues with scheduling after the previous owner sold the company to another company. The scheduling department and the purchasing department were not on the same page together.

I am having a truly frustrating experience with Storm Smart when it comes to scheduling service for my shutters. Several months ago, I reached out to them to arrange a maintenance appointment. Unfortunately, this marked the beginning of a series of disappointments in terms of service and customer care.Upon my initial call, I was informed that someone would contact me within a day or two to finalize the service appointment. However, it took multiple weeks before I received any communication from them. Any calls I made to the organization to inquire about scheduling my appointment were prompted with a reply for me to wait for them to call me. This delay in responsiveness was a red flag for me, but it only foreshadowed the cascade of issues that followed.When I finally received a call to schedule the service several weeks later, the appointment was set several weeks in advance. I patiently awaited the scheduled day, only to find myself in utter disbelief when the technician failed to show up. To add insult to injury, I received a call at the end of the day from the technician stating they wouldn't be coming and instructing me to contact the office to reschedule.The nightmare continued as I called the office to reschedule the appointment. To my dismay, I was told that I would have to wait for the scheduling department to contact me, and this would take another week or so. I am currently waiting for someone to schedule my service appointment, but I have no idea when it will be, and the lack of urgency and responsibility displayed by Storm Smart is appalling.Throughout this ordeal, the level of service and customer care exhibited by Storm Smart has been nothing short of horrible. The delays, no-shows, and runaround I received when trying to reschedule are completely unacceptable. It's disheartening when a company fails so miserably to fulfill its commitments and provide basic customer service for their products. I would strongly caution anyone considering Storm Smart for their services to think twice, as my experience has left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied with their organization.Update:Despite Storm Smart's response to this post, where they apologized for the initial issues, assured a rescheduled appointment for January 24th, and left a voicemail confirming the appointment, my ongoing experience remains a continuous source of frustration. Yet again, on the scheduled day, the company was a no-call, no-show. When I called at the end of the day, I was told that the technician had canceled my appointment, and I would now have to wait to hear from their scheduling department. The evident lack of coordination and communication within their own team raises significant concerns. At present, I am left in a state of uncertainty, awaiting a rescheduled service date with no clear indication of when that might be.
