This place is full of miracles! I volunteered with my nursing school classmates and loved watching the clients having so much fun in their horses. I plan on coming back with my kids sometime to volunteer some again.

Beautiful facility with such good people , there to help those that can benefit from their very special, loving, and patient Horses, so that others can smile, and feel so proud of being with these wonderful animals!!

Special Equestrians, Inc. is a therapeutic riding center offering equine-assisted activities and therapies in Fort Myers, Florida. Our nonprofit agency serves children and adults with disabilities in Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties of Southwest Florida. We are accredited with PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) at the Premier level.
Located in the Buckingham area of Fort Myers, Florida, Special Equestrians operates its programs and services from our own 14.5-acre property. We are constantly working to improve our facility for our participants and volunteers. We welcome visitors by appointment only.
