Pods used to be top notch. After our last experience with a driver we will never use them again. The driver was an hour late and then refused to move our pod to the desired location on the property. He said he didn't have enough time in his schedule that day.

I used pods after hurricane Ian. The few things I didn’t lose I lost in the container. I filed a complaint and the lady said they couldn’t prove if wasn’t damaged. Even though I sent pictures of the damaged pod and my belongings! I would never rent froThem again!

I used PODS due to Hurricane Ian. The pod was in good condition and kept my belongings safe. The first person who set up the pod delivery was absolutely amazing and kindAnd the driver who came to pick up the pod was kind and caring. Kindness and caring go a long way during a very stressful time. Anytime I had a question during this long-term arrangement, everyone was very professional and helpful and the price was fair. Great customer service.

The overall PODS experience was good. There were some fees that I did not understand and questioned: opening the pod prior to final destination ($100) and being charged for the full month ($330) when the pod was used for the first 9 days only. Could have been in the fine print but I do not recall seeing any mention of either. I felt comfortable storing our household items in their facility; I paid for the extra insurance for the added peace of mind. Customer service was always available. The online account was helpful and showed the status of the pod and monthly charges. The pod was clean and the door moved easily. I would use PODS again if I ever needed to move furniture (used 1-800-Pack Rat after Hurricane Ian and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them) but honestly, I hope I never need to do this again!

Overall, PODS provided service as advertised. However, two of the drivers drove the podzilla off our driveway and did minor damage to the yard. When it was time for redelivery, two of the PODS were delivered as scheduled but one had been sent to a different state completely and had to be rescheduled for a later date.

PODS made our move into our new home easy and affordable. This is the service for you if you can pack, stack & unload on your own. PODS Moving & Storage worked perfectly for our move by storing our goods while we waited for our house to be built. It saved us a lot of time & money.

DO NOT USE!!!!DO NOT USE!!!!If you value your personal belongings, do not use this company. Their PODS leak and they know it! They literally said "our PODs are not weather proof" WHAT??? Then, after I said okay, destroy my stuff but at least refund me my money for the POD rental because I am not going to use your leaking POD anymore. They said no.WHAT???Fine. Destroy my stuff AND take my money (without me even using the POD). Just pick up your POD to get it out of my driveway. IT'S STILL THERE! I literally have moved everything else I own out, closed on my home, AND waited three days AND THE LEAKING POD IS STILL SITTING IN MY OLD DRIVEWAY!It is a huge inconvenience for the new home owners. I've called PODS over and over. Literally been on the phone for hours with these people getting them to confirm different dates to pick up their POD and they still have not come. If you value your belongings, time, money, and sanity, do not use this company. They promote being "convenient" to move at your own pace but it has been NOTHING BUT INCONVENIENT. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't use this company. They will change your delivery and return dates without notice. PODS changed my pick up and return date two hours after it was supposed to be delivered. Then they changed my return dates several times. It's been a nightmare ever since. Several calls, txts, and hours wasted, I lost the battle on the initial delivery date. More battles, and they finally changed my return date to the original date I had scheduled at least two months ago. That return date was supposed to be yesterday, which is a Monday. Sunday night I find out they delayed my return up date one week. Now the Homeowners association is threatening to have the POD towed TODAY. Can I reach anyone? NO. Oh I was assigned a "advocacy specialist". Big deal. I need my POD picked up ASAP. She's not calling me back either. More calls, emails, txts, and nothing. This company doesn't care. They just change dates on a whim and don tell you. You can't reach them. And when you do they make excuses. Find someone else. There's competition now.

Buckle up, it's a wild ride. TLDR; I was wrongfully charged an extra $645 for a more stressful and horrible moving experience. The drivers are excellent, corporate is the worst of all time.It all went wrong when I found out that the PODS representative who set up my move for me incorrectly set it up as a long distance move instead of a local one. It had me moving from Fort Myers, Florida to Indianapolis. Mind, I had never once even muttered a word that rhymes with Indiana much less the state or city themselves. How they got it in their heads that I was moving there, I have no conceivable idea. But it happened. And that was the beginning of the nightmare.Given that I was (wrongly) booked as a long distance move, I was automatically charged with Contents protection. Not something I had chosen. It is applied to all long distance moves apparently, so to get some free money as a company, just book your customers a long distance move and take in your free money!Next, I could not use the website to change my destination address because of the long distance. Instead I had to call and have someone help me over the phone. Not only did I have to wait for a very long time, but the associate had difficulty changing my move from long distance to local. Everyone I spoke to was confused about me no longer having a long distance move, to which my stock response was always that I was never moving long distance in the first place. Once my correct local address was finally put in, the only available times to deliver the PODS were after my first month of rent was up.Now this is where the rage occurs. Through NO FAULT of my own, the process of trying to switch my move from long distance to local caused the available dates to be further out than my first month of rent. Lo and behold, when that dropoff arrived, sure enough, I was charged for another month's rent AND THE CONTENTS PROTECTION AGAIN. Because it was still somehow in the system as a long distance move, just with a local address. After spending more hours on the phone with various people, I had a case number generated for me, and the associates in the billing department I talked to all agreed I shouldn't have been charged for these things. However, when my case manager emailed me about my case, he simply said they did a review and concluded nothing was wrong, and considered the matter closed.I am SEETHING. I am still to this day trying to get in touch with this case manager to get him to do one thing: Explain to me why my move was set up as long distance. They record the phone calls, so provide evidence that has me setting Indiana as my destination. I'll save you some effort, it doesn't exist. Any phone calls I've made have me using my local addresses, nothing out of state. They refuse to even acknowledge the root of my problem and are now playing the "ignore the customer until they give up" card. Well, here I am playing another one of my cards, and my deck isn't empty yet. I was robbed, and I intend to fight them on this.If you've made it this far, please know something. The drivers were excellent. It is entirely with corporate and billing that my issues reside, and it is for them that I leave you the generous 1 star, only because 0 is not an option.

The absolute worst experience ever! They lost my POD, don’t know where it is at, can’t even tell me if it arrived at their facility, who the driver was who took it. Nothing! How do you not have an inventory control system and a process to know which driver took which POD. To be this inconsiderate about people’s personal belongings is despicable! You should be ashamed!

2 days in a row they've no showed on the appointment. When you contact customer care they just move the pickup window out to later and they still don't show up. We've paid for movers to be onsite now both days and still no POD.

The PODS showed up when and where I needed them. They were clean and in working order. I had movers not recommended by PODS fill the containers with our goods that we packed. PODS was efficient and met every time hack we had. Storage at our new location was seamless. Delivery to our new house was great. The drivers are all friendly and want to do right for you.
