I had talked to a manager and ask her if they had a certain cream for my cat and she said yes I told her I would be right there so I don't know why she wouldn't have taken it up to the front but when I got there she was in the office supposedly in a meeting and couldn't come out and help me so she sent somebody else to get it for me he couldn't find it so he went and got somebody else and she came out and had a hard time finding it and she finally did then when I went to pay for it there was one check out open with about 10 people in the line and it takes forever for them to check somebody out. So it wasn't a very pleasant visit for me!

I have been coming to this location for a year now, but no longer. The location has drastically went down hill recently in their aquarium department. I’ve already reported them for animal abuse for their corporate office, but I urge Aquarium people to NOT buy from this location. They had a diamond watchmen Goby, an animal that eats through sifting sand through their gills, in a tank with huge substrate. I tried telling them several times as each week I came in, it got skinner and skinner. The staff did nothing, so I asked the associate helping me out if I could return it if it passed given its condition. They said yes, we understand, so I bought the fish. The goby ate the first day I brought it home, but it went belly up on day 3. So I went to return it with a water sample from my tank and the receipt only to be told no refunds of any kind on saltwater fish even though I was assured a refund when buying it. Mandy didn’t care her employee ensured me. She didn’t care the goby was being starved to death at her location. Shame on any employee involved in this animal’s suffering. I’d give you negative stars if I could

I had a horrible experience with a groomer by the name of Betty. I brought in my golden doodle pup and she told me she would not groom him as he was matted when in fact he was not. He was a bit matted by his bum area but the rest of his coat was not. I then rescheduled at another Petco in the Forum who informed me the notes on the chart stated he was severely matted and that groomer stated he was not matted and she then groomed him. I will not return to the Gulf Coast location ever again due to the poor experience I had as a new dog owner.

Called for a certain product, was told it was available. Got to the store and looked for the product. I couldn't find it. Went to the employee at the cash register. She told me where it was exactly. Found what I needed and was out the door.....good job.

If I could give them, no stars, I would. I showed them the paperwork for our pups shots and I also told them that he needed rabies shots. They gave him the wrong shot instead. Not only do I drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes so an hour out of my way, but they will not give A voucher after paying for the shot that he was supposed to get, they’re saying that we have to pay all over again for the shot that he was supposed to get. They will not make it right, and I went to their groomer Faye she was so horrible And after Everything told us, oh, well, I can’t Wash your dog because your dog is not up-to-date, but he would have been if their vet wouldn’t have messed up. She had such a horrible attitude and customer service I would never recommend this store. The only one I recommend is Tamiami trail Chris

Possibly the worst service you will ever get at a petco . The people who work here care more about when they will be able to get off of their shift , rather than giving customers a good experience. I would advise not coming to this location if you are thinking about purchasing a pet.

I was FaceTiming my boyfriend to show him the budgie I fell in love with and was about to bring home to my other budgies. However, a employee came up asking what I was doing and that I was not allowed to take pictures. I then asked her why and she rudely exclaimed that it was petco policy?? I have never heard anything about FaceTiming another person to show the bird I was bringing home. She then watched over my back to make sure I wasn’t doing anything AND I heard her talking to another employee about how rude I was!

The fish department is hit or miss with what they have. Never have well stocked tanks. Just your average pet store fish in small quantities. I continue to shop here for dog food because the carry Stella and Chewy brand dog food.
