My girlfriend and I went to rent a vehicle. She paid with her debit card. They asked me to use my Credit card for a deposit my name was not even on the paperwork only hers. We returned the car on time with a full tank of gas. They charge my card for tolls and charge my cards for damage to the vehicle. There was no damage vehicle when returned. We also purchased full coverage insurance to cover anything. They charged my card for a damage we did not do. They also was not supposed to charge because of the full coverage. They committed a crime and I am pressing charges never use this place. The bank already agreed to refund all my money and notified me of the charge they committed

Avoid this guy (Steve) at all cost!! Definitely hates his job! He was so rude barely talked to us or asked us anything. There were four other people working there they seemed upbeat and thorough but this guy told us he had to go and even cussed in front of us. Received a dirty car could hardly see out the windshield. Sometimes paying less isn't worth it

My credit card got decline due to verification and the wonderful person they had at the counter said to me try other company because I swipe twice your card is block on our system . But if you swipeOnce and you know it gets block why don’t you notify the client and ask to verify with their bank . But that was not even the problem . The problem was that after they suggest me to get another card I sent somebody home to get me another card which I did got it and they refused me but not only that they gave me the paper for the refund and when I call they said booking have to refund me but when I called booking they refuse my refund because the genius person in the front have the audacity to lie and said I did not have a credit card in my name . So inhuman , not ethical , not professional , I felt discriminated and I will make sure to report this to the business bureau I loose my money my time and everything . Thank you for taking my time and money and for calling me a lier under they eyes of booking

We received a car the was so dirty I had to clean the side mirrors to be able to use them. Later when we needed to use the windshield wipers, they were totally worn and there was no washer fluid. So we were driving down the highway with streaks on the windshield and terrible visibility. The car was 1/2 full of gas when we received it and we returned it the same, but they charged us for a full tank. We also returned the car on time, early in the morning for our morning flight, followed the instructions we were given for the return outside of the counter open hours and were charged a late fee and an extra day. I called and after 4 attempts and different numbers, reached someone the could help me. The representative was nice and apologized. She said they sometimes have delays in getting the cars checked in when dropped off like that. I am getting refunded the late fee and extra day. Buyer beware-check your invoices. You get what you pay for and Payless is an appropriate name. I won’t be making that mistake again.

Very much bait and switch company. Price online was lowest. Get to their offsite location (which I'm fine with)...if you don't have your personal car insurance with one of 8 companies, that will be an extra $27/day. You are also required to get an electronic toll payer (like EZ pass) for $14/day...which sucks since we aren't staying in the Miami area. That means they are adding $41/day for seven days, or $287 ON TOP OF the rental costs. Employees were nice, but kept saying this is company policy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

When picking up my rental I was sold a “pre-paid gas refueling” where you pay $80 upfront and you can turn in the rental without having to refill the fuel. After leaving the rental I drove off and saw that they never filled the tank. So basically I had to pay for the gas to fill the tank when I initially picked up the Expedition and I prepaid to have them fill the tank when I dropped it off.The branch was closed so I call called the corporate number after waiting 45 minutes to get through. I explained the situation and they said they would reverse the money I paid for the prepaid fuel and email me with the updates. They never emailed me and they never reversed the charges. It’s been a week and there still haven’t been any changes to my account. I just spent 40 minutes on hold with corporate today and when the representative finally picked up the phone line was disconnected immediately. I’ve wasted so much time trying to be reimbursed for double paying for fuel because Payless forgot to fill the tank before renting it to me.

Worst. Ever.
Waited at the airport shuttle for over an hour. I called them at the call box in the shuttle stop and it went to voice mail that states they would be there every 20 minutes. I called the office phone number listed on google, no one picked up. I called corporate 1-800 number and spoke with someone for 15 minutes and then was told someone would come with a shuttle in 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes I gave up and rented with another agency.
