Key Real Estate Advisors placed a tenant in my home who damaged the property, stole an item with a replacement value of $5,000.00 and stopped paying rent. The only help provided by Key Real Estate Advisors was to charge exceptionally high fees for third party contractors to make repairs. Their services were extremely disappointing and costly. They did not even refund $170 credit balance due from last March.

We have been the ******************** contractor for two of Key Real Estate Advisor's Properties for 5 years. They are a great management company to work for. The community managers and staff are great at communication and we have never had any pay issues on our monthly invoices. Both properties are well maintained and you can tell they take pride in keeping their managed properties looking good and clean. We are proud to be a part of their team.

Key Real Estate is awful. I would not recommend anyone doing any business with them at all. If you choose to do any business with them make sure you document everything. I would also recommend you have council review anything that needs your signature. This company does not operate in good faith and will try to take everything from you if they can. Be mindful and very careful, when dealing with key real estate.Response to me never being a tenant: I was a tenant. My Gmail account name is not my actual name.As I stated before if you are a tenant, document everything, to ensure you are not taken advantage of.

We had just recently rented a place in Fort Myers through Key Real Estate Advisors. A few weeks later, while we were still moving things in, Hurricane Ian hit Florida. Our unit had received significant lower level water damage, just like many, many others here in Florida. I contacted Dan Norden, as the unit was uninhabitable, and would remain so for an indeterminate period of time. Dan responded back to me quickly, even though I could only imagine how busy he was. Dan allowed us to terminate our lease since we were actually still in the process of moving in. His company also returned our deposit as promised. I sent approximately 10 different emails, and each one was answered quickly and efficiently. He also allowed us to leave our car in the garage for a few days, as I could not get a wrecker. We greatly appreciate his concern and willingness to work with us during this disaster, as well as his empathy for our situation. Even though we were there such a short time, I would not hesitate to use them again. By the way, the moving in process was also a breeze and was handled professionally. Thank you!

I rented a property from Key Real Estate Advisors for 36 months. For 36 months they billed me for an average water utility usage of 10,500 gallons per month. My average water utility upon leaving was 4,000 gallons per month for 36 months per monthly meter inspection. The townhouse was located next to 2 AirBnB vacation rentals managed by Key Real Estate Advisors near Sanibel Island. I wonder if that additional water utility billing of 6,500 gallons per month was the utility usage of the 2 AirBnB units they were managing? Would this be considered criminal utilities theft or criminal utilities/billing fraud?

I rented from this company for 2 years. When we got to the new home the place was absolutely filthy . We let Dan know about it and that he should hire better cleaning people. During our 2 year rental we didn't really have much problems with things being addressed. When we moved I asked what kind of paint should i get to fix the small holes in the wall. We were told what kind of paint. Bought it and didn't seem to be the correct one. So we were charged $650. It's terrible that they don't know what kind of paint to use for touch ups.
