I reserved an econ car through an insurance claim a week out and the day I arrived to pick up the vehicle they didn't have one available and expected me to pay out of pocket to upgrade to an SUV because that was the cheapest car available at nearly twice the day rate. They also apparently couldn't call me to let me know because their phone system is down and is apparently still down at this location. I of course told them that's not going to work and called the insurance company to authorize an adjustment for an upgrade. I spent an hour on the phone with State Farm (another I'm not too pleased with) and they only approved an upgrade to a mid size. Enterprise still didn't have that available and was still unwilling to comp for what was clearly their mistake. After telling the insurance company I'd be going back to the body shop to pick up my car the Enterprise agent relented and gave me the SUV at the econ rate and said I would need to return it if they called me later with an available econ (which never happened because their phone system is still down).No issues with the rental itself. The day I needed to return they were closed and the location has no overnight drop off. I called the 800 number and they changed the drop off to a different location. I dropped off the vehicle and put the key in their dropbox. I later in the week realized I never got an email receipt to confirm the drop off. I called the location and they tell me they never received the vehicle. I had to wait another hour while they figured out what was going. Apparently the agent that checked in my car never finalized my invoice and the vehicle had been moved.The overall process was frustrating. I have used Enterprise before and this is the worst experience I have had with them. I will avoid them as much as possible for future rentals.

Beware of this location. I was charged an extra day for a rental I had already returned. I called in an attempt to rectify the issue and get my money back, and the woman on the phone was rude and extremely unhelpful. Do yourself a favor, take your business to Hertz down the road. I am still trying to get my money back. What a horrible way to run a business.

Rented car for 10 days. Took first car back due to extreme smoke smell. Given another suv which smelled clean. But after 2 days it had a smoke smell just not as bad as first suv. This is becoming all to frequent as my last few rentals all had smoke smell. Please start charging people who return cars as you say you do. Based on my experience this is not policed well.Advised agent when turning in suv and they made adjustment to my invoice. However I would rather not have smoky cars.I have rented from multiple locations in 2 states and this seems to be a systemic problem.

I would like to thank Conner Ford at Enterprise Clarksburg WV for his extra efforts assisting me with my rental car return on Sept 15, 2023. I had encountered some difficulties regarding my personal vehicle after arriving from a two day trip Florida and his prompt and courteous actions saved us time and money. We were then able to get the mechanical assistance and supplies we needed in a timely manner. The kindness, cooperation and personal attention shown to us by Mr. Ford and the entire staff at the Clarksburg facility will be long remembered. I look forward to the opportunity to be a customer again very soon. Thank you all at Enterprise including Edwin and the staff in Fort Myers who were very helpful to us with our rental arrangements to begin our trip to WV.

Called every Enterprise location in my area and none had cars to rent. I went 3 weeks w/o a car & now my hurricane damaged car has been totaled, I have to turn the rental in within a week. I don't have my insurance check yet to look for a car. Really disappointed

I was rudely treated today at this Enterprise location. They failed to tell me they could not honor my reservation because of some 7 year old issue that had already been resolved . We were left with no car just arriving from NJ. The manager said to me, "oh if you are going to yell, I'm leaving." Really! Looks like it's time for some customer service classes to develop better people skills. Your job was to hear me out and calm me down. My voice was elevated, because I was upset. I never cursed or used any foul language. You can keep your cars at Enterprise & Alamo (who tried to scam us 7 years ago & we proved and settled our case.) We went to another rental place.

The Enterprise location at Cypress Lake in Fort Myers is my go to truck rental for my business. Melene Komya has provided excellent customer service, pays attention to our immediate needs and provides the vehicle we need to keep our business operating. I can count on Melene and she is an excellent and professional representative for Enterprise.
