Lots of very unique pieces in the gallery. The staff member Sonia was very friendly and helpful. They had some items that were around a dollar and others that were in upwards of a couple hundred with everything in between.

DAAS stands for David Acevedo Art Studio. Acevedo founded this art gallery along with Xavier Brignoni who came up with the name. Their first venue opened in 2006 on Broadway Street in downtown Fort Myers. While there, they were instrumental in creating the Fort Myers Art Walk which has been going on for ten tears. Later on they became daas Gallery and now their current incarnation is DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts. In addition to running the gallery they stage different events throughout the year. Check out their Facebook page for dates and times. Today, DAAS is a cooperative that provides space for local artist to exhibit and sell their work. Support small businesses! The gallery is located in the Gardner's Park District along with other other businesses in the same complex including a garden store, coffee and food shop, and a butterfly aviary. Items they had for sale included wall art, mugs, jewelry, sculptures, magnets, notecards, and clothes to name just a few of the items. I saw so many things that would make a great gift for someone special or for yourself. This is a really cool gallery to browse. Thank you Rachel M for your review. If you like it, you know I will!

Best art gallery in SWFL. Beautiful inside as well as the surrounding shops and walking areas. Everything there is amazing. Staff are friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. They have tons of great stuff, they support diverse local artists and feature different mediums. They have a very large selection of original work and prints you can buy as well. Great place to buy a unique gift or souvenir. I recommend everyone to visit. I don't think you can imagine how beautiful the art they have inside is. You must see it to believe it.

What a terrific art gallery! DAAS stands for David Acevedo Art Studio and Galleria and there is a CO-OP of artists who house their beautiful works here. This is a place for you to admire and pick something out just perfect for you and your home. This is in the most perfect setting. It's at the Butterfly Estates complex, so think Key West with butterflies, art galleries, gardens, and coffee shop, ALL LOCAL!!! How perfect is that!!!

DAAS is the perfect combination of contemporary art and hand-made gifts. Community-based, featuring mainly local and regional work. Great selection and the nicest artist-owners you will ever meet!
