I went in to purchase a bottle of expensive liqueur (more than $25) and the EMPLOYEE showed me where it was located and I picked up a bottle. As soon as I got home I realized it was the correct name brand but the wrong flavor of liqueur. I returned to the store, with my receipt in hand, and the employee said they don't do any exchanges or refunds at all. Ever. I stated that I just purchased this and all I wanted to do was exchange it! Absolutely refused. Employee said that the minute you walk out the door with liquor you cannot return or exchange it. I said if that's their policy, then I just learned a very expensive lesson and would never shop there again. The employee then rudely told me that ALL liquor stores EVERYWHERE have that policy - and that's a flat out lie. (See below for proof.)I paid a very expensive lesson and hope you take advantage of my loss by not shopping at this establishment. Take your business elsewhere which is what I'll do from now on.For the record, here's the well-known "alphabet" liquor store's policy, straight from their website:"Return Policy: Orders placed online or purchased from a store may be returned to any location within 30 days from purchase. All refunds require a physical valid, government issued photo ID. If you do not have a receipt, you may exchange the item for other merchandise or a merchandise card for the value of the item at the time of return. Products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and or packaging.Original purchase by cash: If the return is less than $500.00, we will refund the purchase price in the form of cash or a merchandise card. If the return is more than $500.00, the refund will be made from Corporate Office by check.Original purchase by credit card or debit card: If the purchase was made with a credit or debit card, the refund will be issued to the same card used for the original purchase. Credit and debit card refunds may take up to 10 business days."
