“I'm giving this church 5 stars, not because I love it and want to return, but because we didn't encounter any problems or unkind people and it seems wrong for me to judge the way another group worships. We were looking for a vibrant family oriented bible-teaching church in the area with live band and active youth group. This service was vibrant and pretty well attended with a variety of ages, including many youth. They seem to be bible-teaching. Had a live band. Should note that the piano player was truly talented and really enjoyed his singing as well. The main gal who sang was also a good singer. A bit of a Tammy Faye vibe and songs that went on a loooong time (45 min of praise music with maybe only 3-4 songs). However, we're just not into the pentecostal vibe. If you are, this may be a great fit for you. Lots of inviting to the front to kneel down, step into the aisle, people speaking in tongues around the room. If you've seen the Tammy Faye movie, I kind of felt like I was in it. We will not be returning, but perhaps someone who's looking for this type of service will be able to use this review to try it out. The people were very friendly and welcoming so we appreciated their hospitality.”

“I have been coming here for years 7:30 Mass. I have always sat next to Clare, beautiful person. Attending mass has always been the highlight of my week. Walking into the church I feel at peace with myself. During mass I have cried for many different things. Since Covid-19 I haven’t attended mass due to my heath issues. I do watch it on Facebook Watch I follow the mass with a Prayer & Worship Guide l get in the mail. I know it’s not the same as being there. But at least it is the the mass I have attended priest & people I know. It’s the closest thing to being there. I can’t wait until I’m able to return. The beginning of the pandemic my daughter Theresa aka Cha-Cha was diagnosed with cancer! She lives in NewYork. There’s nothing I can do for her from here but pray! Please prayer are needed! “Prayer is Powerful” On 12/10/23 my daughter Cha-Cha got her wings and is no longer in pain. REST IN PEACE my sweet angel! We love you always and forever! We’ll miss you more!”

“Today at Zion Lutheran Church, I experienced a spiritual treasure hunt! Like the man in Matthew 13:44-52, we found hidden gems in God's Word. The parable of the net taught us to separate good from bad, just as we should in life. Romans 8:31 reminded us that God is for us, making us conquerors. Deuteronomy 7:6-9 reaffirmed that we are God's treasured people. Grateful for the warm welcome and uplifting service! ? : )”

“Wonderful parish and mass. Father Murcadah O’Madagain is well spoken, knowledgeable and kind.Although the church looks quite different from what you would expect a catholic church to look like, it is still very beautiful and unique. It also has a beautiful recreation of sculptor Timothy Schmalz’s “Christ the Beggar” statue on the steps of the front entrance.”

“Used their crossroads drug and alcohol rehabilitation program in Ft Myers in 2012 along with AA 12 step program. Was homeless when I joined. Been sober ever since and now I own my own home, have a good career, and a great family. No, it wasn't easy. I had to put the work in. Salvation Army gave me all the tools I needed to be successful, and it worked. If it wasn't for the Salvation Army I'm confident I'd be dead or in prison right now. Trust me, if I can do it, you can do it too. I no longer have any desire for intoxication. I can't be grateful enough for these people and the services they provide.”

“This place is truly a miracle and deserves every bit of credit and donation money because they do things the right way and the CHRISTIAN way. They feed great, they provide a safe, comfortable and disciplined alternative to homelessness and the preachers are fantastic. Come to church service on Sundays if you need some Jesus because you can sincerely feel his energy in every corner of Fort Myers rescue mission. I love this place and I'm grateful beyond words for the example they provide to all of Florida for helping poor people and the homeless.”
