I m appalled by the student behavior at the mulberry game the students cussing at our player distracting them and your facility wasn't no better your own coach yell nasty remarks if this is how Catholics act I'm glad I'm not one . Our boys are taught sportsmen ship and we may be a small town but we don't behave badly in other people house i hope you take this seriously and there are consequences for there behavior i hope we never play you all again

The most entitled horrible people seem to go to the school. I live nearby and these people ride their golf carts to the school children by the way who shouldn't be driving golf carts on a public sidewalk that says no motor vehicles allowed. And whenever I get cut off or treated horribly in traffic they always have a bv sticker on their car. I have never had a good experience with anyone who goes here and there's also trash all over around the school from the kids that go there so it would be nice if the school had someone pick that up. But also if their kids didn't almost hit people walking their dogs on the public sidewalk illegally driving golf carts if you want an entitled kid who gets ruined by other kids sure send them to this school because again the rudest most entitled people seem to go here

I'm a past graduate of BVHS and the most important lesson I learned in my 4 years is that my kids will not be attending this school! Some teachers genuinely cared, but the majority were rather unintelligent and had no right in "providing the best education your child can get". A minority of the teachers I had were worth the 12K a year, and succeeded at their job of helping ALL kids grow and prosper. The main issue of this institution comes down to its administration. A bulk of them couldn't care less about ALL students, and just catered to those with nice donations. There were multiple kids I knew that would repetitively get caught cheating, but the staff would do absolutely nothing about it because they were seen as an asset to the diocese's income. They pick and chose their favorite students, and if you are not on that list they probably wont let you walk at graduation, regardless of your GPA (multiple personal experiences). Bishop Verot Catholic high school is very poorly ran, and I would really make sure this is the BEST option for your child.

My wife and I were part of a very special Veterans Day Assembly at BV yesterday, 10 Nov 2017. The students were exceedingly well behaved and respectful, and a pleasure to interface with. The program they developed was inspirational, patriotic and sincere, and I was proud to celebrate our nation's military history with them. In addition, the Administrative Team, Faculty and Staff, to a person, were professional and kind to us; they made my wife and I feel valued. Kudos to the entire BV team for what they have accomplished over their history, and for their ongoing efforts to educate our youth in a positive and enriching environment. Go Vikings!

As a parent of two students - one who graduated, one who is going into 11th grade, I can't say enough good things about this school. Academically, my children excelled. My daughter is doing extremely well in college - in large part because of her experience at BV. She learned the importance of great study habits and graduated with a mature view of her next steps. As I watch my son maturing and looking more seriously at his future, he too is going to accomplish great things in college. BV prepares kids for the future and helps them to learn a deep respect for each other, adults and the world around them.

The faculty, staff and student body at Bishop Verot have made my daughters transition to high school a wonderful experience for her. They have a true sense of community that can be felt throughout the school. She has fantastic teachers and enjoys going to class. As "Adam Davis" also posted - we also wanted our daughter to be in a smaller high school environment (not 600 kids in the freshman class!) but still have the true high school experience. We know we made the right choice when we chose Bishop Verot! Go Vikes!

They are very intolerant of other faiths. If you are not of the catholic faith, but still want a good education for your child, I highly recommend Fort Myers High School. At Fort Myers High School they have an internationally accredited IB program that gives any student graduating from the program a great variety of scholarships. Some of my personal friends got full rides to any school in Florida because of it.The school educates well enough, but the classes are not weighted appropriately and in the eyes of colleges, a high school degree is a high school degree. Why not send your child to a school with easier Honors level courses? There is no reason to deny them of the credit they deserve.

To the person and all who read the post of the writer who claims that Bishop Verot High School (BVHS) is prejudice against non-Catholics and Christians. You must have a two digit I.Q to make such an outrageous claim and yet offer no example, not even something that a person with low I.Q. could invent. You are truly a sad person and I pray that our Father may help you find peace within.I have young adults who attend BVHS and another (God willing), on the way. My only regret is that I did not know about this school years ago, where my children were packed like sardines in each classroom. They now feel loved and cared for not only by Catholics but also by others who attend this school.I have found in my life that people who claim a prejudice about others should take a stern look at the mirror and see what is within them to feel that way about others. Your broad, single stroke of this school illustrates that indeed you are in pain and perhaps feel cheated somehow or in someway that you would paint so broadly.Bishop Verot High School did not rank in the top fifty of Catholic Schools in the nation for commentary such as yours. I suggest you seek counseling and if that does not work, remove yourself from any relationship to this God lifting magical school that transforms young, impressionable children into very well rounded young adults with a beautiful future ahead of them.NC
