Don't waste your time or money using Bill Smith for appliance repair. Their technicians are terrible. They don't know what they are doing. Kevin especially was rude and argumentative!Not the way a customer should be treated!

Went in to Bill Smith appliances just to look at kitchen appliances. We’re in the process of rebuilding our home after Hurricane Ian and wanted to get an idea of what was available. We had just left another appliance store and were very disappointed with the poor selection of brands and models offered. Sales consultant Jean Beltran immediately introduced himself and asked if there was anything he could help us with. Jean was very knowledgeable about the products he represents, he’s extremely polite and professional. He patiently listened as we explained what we were looking for. My wife was dead set on a particular brand and Jean discussed the pros and cons of their merchandise. He also showed us a variety of brands and products. In the end we ended up buying a complete kitchen suite. Jean is a true asset to Bill Smith and an outstanding sales representative. I would highly recommend him and Bill Smith for your next appliance purchase.

The staff was very helpful and we bought a fridge. The only thing that was different from prior purchases of refrigerator, we had to remove all the packing material inside. Not like the delivery staff removing it. We are still removing plastic. However besides that I would recommend Bill Smith Appliances.

I have made several purchases in the past from Bill Smith on 41 in Fort Myers and have always been satisfied until today. I purchased an 85" tv, I was told at the time of purchase that it would be $200 for the install and if we wanted the old tv installed in another location it would be $100. The salesman said it would be an additional $100 to install an outlet by the mount. I told the installers they could go ahead and install the old tv upstairs. I had a local handyman that was going to do it for $75 but to save time I figured I would pay the little extra. I had an appt and my wife was here when installation was complete. They charged us $370 for the upstairs (outlet was installed) and $200 for the downstairs. I like shopping local but will no longer be using Bill Smith for my upcoming purchasesUpdate, the next day I received a call from Trent the store manager and we discussed the experience I had. He was very professional and explained how the insyaller (subcontractor) arrived at the $. He agreed that there was some miscommunication and we were able to agree on what we believed was a fair price.Due to their prompt response and helpful attitude I will continue to shop with my local Bill Smiths appl.

Not a place I’ll ever go back … Cindy the servicelady isn’t the friendliest… Must be v busy. Never returned my call. This place is a rip..After a few weeks I received a call from Cindy.She explained why I was charged however, she understood my position. Said she would talk to her superiors and would get back. She did and agreed to reimburse my charge. Thank you!I will go back for sure!

Sales associates at time of sale are great!! If you need any follow up care regarding servicing, problems with rebates or customer service it’s terrible! Had high hopes using a smaller company more local would be much better than the big box stores but not at all. Very disappointed in the Bill Smith and dealing with Trent!

Today was the third time technician was here to fix a GE double oven and microwave combo , and still not working !! The technician order a part for the oven and the part wasn’t the correct one and now Bill Smith appliance store in Fort Myers supervisor ,Want to charge me for a part that they took back and didn’t work, how can a customer be charged when Bill Smith technician ordered from GE and the technician was the one that opened the box and installed it , and then the technician took the new part out because it didn’t solve the problem / and they took it back to the store, now they tell me ( the customer) that I am responsible to pay for the part even if it wasn’t the right part . When the technician ordered the wrong part I told him I don’t think that is the right part to order because it was only a replacement LED screen, when the problem is in the control panel, he told me that’s is what GE told him to order . Bill smith or GE should be responsible for ordering the wrong part but not me the customer .For this personal reason I would never recommend any one to buy there .I have an Instagram account with 23,000 followers, and the funny thing that I do southwest Florida tech reviews online, I will be sharing my own experience with my followers.

Brand new dryer broke in less than 2 months and no one at this place cares. Parts have been on order for weeks with no estimated date of arrival. Blaming everything in manufacturer.

Just purchased a refrigerator, washer and dryer at Bills after comparing the Labor Day Sales. Despite reading the negative reviews our experience couldn’t be more from the opposite! The costumer service was impeccable and the deliver and installment were as promised! I strongly recommend Bill Smith for your next appliance purchase. The only reason I didn’t give a five star is that I can’t testify to their repair service. Great Experience?

My washing machine was beyond repair and I had gotten the run around for several weeks from a big box store that claimed they had a machine they could deliver- but actually never did - and finally admitted was on back order. I went immediately to Bill Smith and explained my problem. The sales associate, Camilo Charles, listened to my requests spent plenty of time locating a model, in my preferred brand, that was actually available. He then located the matching dryer. He made sure they both got delivered to our home the very next day. Nothing short of a miracle. Mr. Charles was very helpful, and the company delivered what they promised. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I never post things on the internet. However, I felt like it would be a real disservice to others not to let them know how awful this place is. For years I bought all my appliances there and they did a good job. Over the past 2 to 3 years, they have gone downhill. My dryer has been broken for 3 weeks. It is under warranty and they “just can’t tell me when the parts will arrive”. Also the customer service there is terrible - they make no effort to help you or to try to solve the problem. I asked the supervisor to call me 3 times and nobody has ever called me back. If you buy an appliance here be prepared that is something breaks down it will take at minimum a month to get it fixed. This place charges more than most and the service is horrible. please don’t buy from them.

The showroom floor is dark and gives you a feeling like you're in someone's basement. The dingy lighting makes it difficult to actually see and appreciate the appliances. We ordered an appliance and was told because of hurricane Ian it would take 8 weeks to get. We crossed the street to Best Buy to shop for a telphone and realized they were selling the same microwave we had just purchased at Bill's for the same sale price and could be delivered in 3 days!! We canceled our order at Bill's and as promised Best Buy delivered the microwave in 3 days!!
