“Just had a wonderful time at the Springs of Hammock Cove learning how to paint a beautiful picture. The instructors are amazing and I can't wait to do this again.”
“This is such a fun venue in SW FL. I have gone to the museum for a variety of things; yoga, karaoke on the roof top, decorating of the trees, dueling pianos and a fashion show. I love the space and the fun history that it provides the town. I would love to see more things in this space- maybe a showing of old holiday movies or a summer movie series. I love every time that I walk through the doors!”
“We came through to help out for the Wednesday Market and music.
Melissa does an awesome job on the event arrangements.
This is a great asset to our Southwest Florida community.”
“Mike framed my daughter’s FGCU graduation photo, tassel, and diploma WAY beyond our expectations! She is so proud to have this artwork in her place of business. I highly recommend them to preserve your favorite memories.”
“Joy is the best! This store has some incredible art and the best salesperson.
The owner makes all the electric lamps while Joy is a polymer glass artist.
They know their stuff! Totally stop by!”
“Daniel and Keira were fantastic. I had to make changes after it was already framed and they didn’t charge me anything. They are so polite and so customer service oriented. I happen to be a national motivational speaker on customer service in the professional beauty industry, and I always look for good examples and bad examples and they are going to be one of my best examples so if you need any framing done, please go and see them.”
“What a great business this is! Went with a community craft group I am in and had a ball. The items to choose from are extensive and any level of artistic talent is welcome. Ida and Blake were so helpful with their instruction, guidance, and input. If doing the art isn’t your thing, stop in to buy a decorative piece for yourself or as a gift. Highly recommend a visit to this fantastic location!”
“Lots of very unique pieces in the gallery. The staff member Sonia was very friendly and helpful. They had some items that were around a dollar and others that were in upwards of a couple hundred with everything in between.”
“This place is so beautiful. We saw a musical performance in this space and the sound was so gorgeous. Looks like they have some amazing performances, but the building is about to start a two year renovation.”
“I really enjoyed stepping inside the world of Island Visions Gallery and Gift Shop. The art they display in the windows gets your attention, the colors, the shapes, the vibe. The store has a beachy, laid back vibe. I talked to the lady working here and she told me they moved the store to downtown Fort Meyers area recently. They initially had a store on the artsy Matlacha island but it got destroyed by hurricane Ian so they relocated here. I wish I would have gone to Matlacha art village but this store brings a bit of that world to you and to everyone in Fort Meyers. It is great to see work created by local artists. They have everything from pottery, home decor, paitings, sculptures, souvenirs, jewelry. Various styles, materials used for creating wonderful merchandise. Nice surprise to find this cute store and learn about their story. Great they reinvented themselves and keep supporting local artists. If you are in the area, stop by, you will find a variety of local art!”
