Last night I called to see if they had the gas dryer I needed. They said yes and we made arrangements to come the next day. When I showed up they said they didn't have one in stock. So I asked about the previous conversation and why I would be told they did have it if they didn't. The response to that was I'm not sure it was a different co-worker and I don't know what to tell you. So I said well could we go look and see if it would be on the floor because he did mention that it was a floor model so maybe it's just not registered in the computer that you have it even though it still here. The employee stated that we could go look and see if it was on the floor but even if it was he could not sell it to me because it was not in the computer as being there. So I then asked if he could call the owner to see if the owner would make an exception just to try anything we could mean that I have 14 people staying at my house because of hurricane evacuations and I have no dryer at all and it was a very big problem as people don't really carry gas dryers. He stated that he could but the owner would say no and so he did not want to call him. Unfortunately after this experience I will never return even though I have previously bought other appliances from them and even recommended them to friends and family. Probably one of the most disappointing customer experiences I've ever had.

Ordered a dishwasher with delivery and haul away. Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday. Helene is supposed to hit on Thursday. Delivery was cancelled and rescheduled for Friday. Understandable. Delivery company calls on Friday and cancels again, allegedly due to weather. Okay. Rescheduled to Tuesday. Tuesday comes, nobody shows up. Call the phone number, get a machine. Call American Freight. They say they will escalate to a manager. Wednesday at 5 o'clock no one has called. I call again. Same person answers and says he will try to contact the delivery company and call me back. No call back that evening. Thursday at noon I call and the response is that they have tried to call the delivery company and can't get a response. There is nothing they can do. They're cancelling my order and refunding my money, which will take 7-10 business days. So now it's more than a week later, no dishwasher, and I get to wait 7-10 days for a refund. If you like actually receiving the items you purchase, I suggest shopping elsewhere.

My dryer decided to quit on me after 10 years, I surly hope she’s somewhere in dryer heaven sitting under a fan.
Welp, to make things easier Duan at the fort Myers location was absolutely fabulous helping me navigate the online buying experience.
(I’m older now so it’s not as easy for me as per- say my 15 year old tech savvy grandson!!! )
