beautiful place 10/10. easy access to a beautiful beach. i had a great experience in the canal with a paddle board (didn’t see any alligators). cheap fee and free tram that comes in fast intervals that takes you from parking lot to beach. showers and bathrooms right next to parking lot. friendly staff ??????
Lovers Key State Park opens at 8 and closes at sunset daily. The park features 2.5 miles of beautiful beach, 5 miles of nature trails, and a paddling trail. The park’s concessionaire rents bikes, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, beach chairs and umbrellas.
