The property is still undergoing work related to past hurricane damage. There are no grocery stores immediately nearby, so planning ahead is advised. We booked through VRBO for a quick getaway. The room was perfect. It is nice because it is away from the craziness of Fort Myers Beach, but still close enough to go anywhere you like without a very long drive. Lovers Key is amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

There are updated parts of the room, and others that are definitely not. From photos is looks fairly nice, but in person it's not the best. The shower curtain and couch are dirty/stained, there are random pieces of furniture that are broken/damaged, etc. It's not terrible, but definitely leaves something to be desired.
