My husband and I had a stay vacation we live in Cape Coral, trying to support our locals through this difficult times. Our room was just wonderful, beds so comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need to cook with. The refrigerator held what you needed. We will go back next month for another staycation.Nearby activities: You can walk to the beach, restaurant and you can rent boats also in walking distance. What fun.Safety: I felt very safe the exit all marked well.Firer extinguishers everywhere. Keyless entry to rooms a doors from the street.

We only got to stay 3 days but, it was a great 3 days. LeAnn and Tanya were so kind and accommodating. The room was nicely decorated and the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The bathroom even had a shower with a handheld shower head (salt water on long thick hair... life saver) The pool area and hot tub were perfect. Sitting on the balcony at night, watching the water and listening to live music... so relaxing. We were worried about going after the hurricane, not knowing the condition everything would be in... although not everything is up and running, the places that are, seem to be killin it and doing so with such positive attitudes. When we can get back... we will definitely be staying at Harbour House again!

we stayed in unit 208 feb 21th til march 5th and really enjoyed our stay, Leann and staff are all great. Would like to stay next year but found to be a little over priced for us, location is great since most all beach is destroyed, red tide kept us from the beach and everyone was coughing when outside, but will give Harbour House 5 stars.

I'm writing this review post hurricane Ian reopening. I just returned home after a 3 night stay at Harbour House via Leeann's vacation for a work trip. I'm in FMB at least once a month these days and I was so happy that this place was open to all rentals. (Most on the island are limited currently).I'm stayed in room 209 and it was wonderful. The distance from the elevator, pool and hot tub area, community room was really perfect. The best was the balcony which overlooks Nervous Nelly restaurant, has a view of the water and you can enjoy the music from Snug Harbor and Wahoo Willie restaurants!! Booking and check in was a breeze. If you are lucky like I was Leanne may be on site at check in. She called me to let me know my room was ready and where to find her when I arrived. She went through procedures and gave me my key. The room has a living and kitchen combo area with couch, coffee table, small bistro table and chairs, tv and kitchen. The kitchen had fridge, microwave, 2 burners cooktop and duo coffee maker (oh and a toaster too). There is a huge bathroom with shower tub combo, vanity etc. Down the hall was the bedroom with king bed, closet (with hangers and beach stuff) tv and 2 nightstands. There is a sliding door to the balcony with 2 chairs and small table. Everyone I met was extremely kind. The guests staying this week come year after year and what a treat to have instant friends to hang out with in the morning or evening! The garage on the first floor has easy access to the elevator, front door to old San Carlos, and allows one space per guest. The main thing is you can't beat this location!! You can walk to everything!! I parked my car and it sat only until I needed to be at the exact opposite end of the island. Just the best experience and stay here! I cannot wait to return!!

This was our first time renting here and it was great for the price. The kids had fun and we were walking distance from the beach restaurants, bars and stores.

Wonderful location, free garage parking, walking distance to everything, room was spotless , well-stocked will all the cooking dishes ect you could need. Dish washer in the room with washer and dryer also in the room. Very large and spacious. Large patio doors that open to a balcony overlooking the street. Can't believe how affordable and awesome it was to stay here. Pool, hot tub and much more. We loved it!!

This is a great location. Short walk to the beach and fairly quiet. The pool area is very, very nice, The room was also clean. On the downside the room we stayed in could use a coat of paint and an upgrade on the pull out couch would be nice. There were rust stains on the couch. The mattresses in the bedroom should be replaced as well as the pillows and sheets. The master bedroom nightstand appeared to have cigarette burns. We have stayed here before a few years ago but it looks like not many updates have happened.

This is my second year in a row staying here for a week. Both times our group rented at least 5 rooms. Last year our experience was amazing, this time was not so much. The rooms and location were very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and friendly both times. This time however one of the apartment owners was here and did nothing but complain to the office about our kids in the pool. We felt like we were walking on eggshells our entire stay nevermind the fact that him and his group were loud and rowdy in the pool too. When I read the pool rules posted on the sign I missed the part that said the rules only applied to guests and not the owners. Maybe it wouldnt have been so bad if we were dinking white claws at 10am by the pool like them.?If not for this I would rate it 5 stars like last year but we will definitely be spending our money elsewhere in the future. It is unfortunate that 1 bad apple ruins things for everyone.

I can't believe after staying here 7 years in a row I haven't reviewed here yet. Maybe because I didn't want it to be booked for when we go on vacation. Perks: pool is normally pretty quiet, overall rooms are Clean and well maintained, short walk to beach and good restaurants, staff are nice. Cons: sunshine by pool is limted and can get loud at time with road traffic, hall traffic but nothing too extreme. Another plus: locked myself out of room after hours and did not wait long at all for off site personnel to let me in. In summary nice and quaint no frills just simple beach life

Cute rooms, very nice common areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Some maintenance needed in our suite. I have messaged the hotel with that info so hopefully they take care of it. The carpets were very dirty in the room and I feel they are taking the COVID thing way to far. There were 4 of us in 1 suite with 1 bathroom so we used the restrooms in the common area frequently, but woke up one morning (out of 2) to find they had been locked some time during the night. One person using the potty and 3 others waiting to get in. Also, they have stopped providing coffee period, even in the rooms/suites. I can see not having it in common areas but in the privacy of our rooms? Front desk hours are extremely limited (good luck). Beds and pillows were very comfy. I do not usually sleep well in hotels, but slept better at this hotel than any I can remember.

Overall the place was perfect for what we needed but there were some things that happen during our stay that was very frustrating. One thing that happen during our stay was when my children were waiting in the lobby for elevator to go upstairs. There was nobody else in the lobby and the lady who was working the front desk yelled at them and said that they should have had mask on. They went upstairs to grab and mask and then came back the lobby and saw that the same lady who yelled at them was waiting on two customer who had no mask on. She didn’t yell at them. Another issue that happened during our stay was the same lady who yelled at my kids for not having a mask on didn’t tell us the key pad code to get in once she left. It also wasn’t on the check in papers that we received when we check in. Another issues was that the pool closed at 9:30 it’s vacation. The last issue that happened during our stay was that we ran out of towel paper and we had to ask multiple times just to get it.

Our disgusting dirty stay was from May 11 to May 13. We were first given a room with a dirty a/c coil. We went down to ask for our room to be changed and they accommodated us immediately after showing the dirty filter. We went into our new room 309 and checked the a/c and it was worse than the room we just left (pictures are attached). It looked like black mold was growing in the coils ( we were later told it was not black mold, but was actually dust that had accumulated. They made it a point to let us know we were wrong it was checked and in writing it was not black mold). They think it is acceptable to have filthy coils and not clean them and have guests breath the disgusting air. We made it clear because of the time we have no choice but to stay. We asked for them to find another room without dirty coils and gave our phone number because we were going out. Also asked if they can't find another room ( I don't think occupancy was more than 50%. Garage was not full and place looked empty) to please send maintenance up the next day to clean the coils. Guess what, we never got another room and the coils were never cleaned. In addition to having that filthy air on my mind all night we found ants and hair on the sheets. We also had sewer flies in the bathroom. On top of all this we were charged an additional booking charge of $30.00. When placing the reservations directly by phone being told there was a booking charge and then being told what the TOTAL of our stay would be, and there will be no additional charges. ( I made a point of asking if there were going to be any additional charges, and was told no. I believe the person I spoke with on the phone was Kathy) When given a total you would expect it to be the total. I should of stayed at Diamond Head for the same price.

Booked this through a vacation wholesale that I belong to add a replacement for our cruise that was cancelled. The location is perfect. Very close to the beach, but much cheaper than the beachfront hotels. We have a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen. The room is clean. There's a few cosmetic issues, but nothing that would keep us from staying again. We love having our own balcony. We've spent almost every evening out on it. The parking is also underneath it, so that's been amazing. Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Rooms are old and a little grungy. However they do their best to keep them clean. They clearly paid attention to trying to make it presentable, but the old grungy carpet and brown-stained plastic drapes are hard to overcome without renovations.Regardless, it was a nice stay in a great location. Price is good and the facilities are well-taken care of.There's a lot of weird rules that are due to the owner living in the building that threaten lots of fines and other things that I question the legality of. So, this is not a partier's hotel. However, our stay has been fine and I would return for another stay here. It's not perfect, but the location and price is hard to beat.
