The Badcock in Fort Meade, FL is amazing. The owner, I believe his name is Clayton, is absolutely amazing. He helped make my purchase of a new refrigerator so easy. Very informative and even helped me load and strap it down in my truck. Best customer service I’ve had in a very long time.

I have been purchasing products from this local store for 22 years now. In July I purchased a 55 in. LG TV, and I also purchased the extended warranty and the product protection plan. I noticed the picture was different from my TV in my bedroom. I though it might be because the different size. But my son noticed that 2/3rd of the screen the colors were off. I called Babcock, the girl said they don't repair electronics and gave me a number to call the manufacturer. I went through the process of adjusting the settings and the picture was the same. The lady said that the TV was OK. I took the TV back to Babcock so they could see it themselves. They said that they don't see anything wrong. I had to point out the area were the color faded out. They said that they will contact the manufacturer. It's been over 2 weeks and I went to the store yesterday to see what was going on. They couldn't tell me anything so I told them I was going to Mulberry and see if they could tell me anything. The Manager Clayton Frazier told me if I go to Corporate office I will be arrested and go to jail and if I don't leave he will call the law. So if you have anything from them and have problems, good luck getting it taken care of. This store does not stand behind what they sell you, or care about their customers.

BUYER BEWARE:bought a recliner, Badcocks repair man said it was a manufacturer defect, I even bought the extended warranty. opened up a $5,000 line of credit as I was intending to remodel our kitchen and use Badcock appliances from this location. The chair broke literally the first day in our home. We called it in quickly and reported it- they are saying they will repair it, but not swap the chair with a new chair? why? I didn’t buy a defective chair. I bought a functional chair but received a defective chair. i don’t want a repaired, defective chair.after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, lady tells me I have to call corporate. but she fave me the automated payment number. I had to personally look up corporates number. Now i’ll just deal with corporate. Your Local badcock will not be helpful when you need them.Now a cheap $800 chair, that I have already paid off mostly, will cost them over $5,000 in future business I was already approved to give them. I thank god this has become a cheap lesson for me and an expensive one for them. I’ll be closing out my account with them.
