i was assured that i wouldn't be passed off to another company but i was anyway. then when the company didn't show for the scheduled pickup, i couldn't get a response from either party.when i finally reach WG, i was told they had no response from the mover. movers came the next day on 5/22, as of 7/21/22 we still don't have our goods. WG got our money and set us up with a shotty mover and no-one can get us our goods. UPDATE: a transporter came and delivered parts of our belongings. when we tried to find out where the rest is located WG, jj moving and storage or the transporter would tell us where we could get the missing boxes, tools, patio tables, computer components, furniture pieces, family portraits and just our stuff! WG failed to keep their promise of Luxury service or treating my things safely as their own. as of 3/11/2023, our claimed has been denied and we still don't have all our things. the company just repeatedly states they delivered them all. if so why would I keep asking for my things and I was able to show pictures of my missing items. just pay the real companies, don't take a chance here or any where else.

I moved from Arizona to Maine and unfortunately I used this company. They contracted my move to a company called Carefree Movers Inc. my belongings were picked up in Arizona on 10/03/2022. Partial delivery (with 1 guy so I had to help him unload the truck) on 11/15/2022. My belongings that arrived that day were damaged. Another partial delivery on 01/15/2023 (again with 1 guy) and they still have my table. White glove has done nothing to help me through this process. They stuck me with this mover and now they won’t answer my phone calls, return my phone calls, or respond to my emails. Avoid this company. If they wish to dispute this review, please feel free to call me back or respond to my emails.

I would give a 0 star review if I could. This company is a SCAM. All of their positive reviews are FAKE. After spending 1.5 hrs on the phone to go over my inventory, I was given a quote and asked to pay 50% deposit. I find out later that they cannot charge you more than 30% deposit. After the 48 cancellation window, they conveniently scheduled a second call with me and even though my inventory did not change, the price went up tremendously because they said now they were measuring against the space in the truck. I asked them why they didn't do that to begin with and told them nobody explained to me during my first call I'd be getting a second call. After reading the reviews and realizing that if I went forward with the move they would raise the price again in person. I canceled the move and have lost out on $1,400 even though no services were rendered and I canceled several weeks out from the move. They said it was because I was outside of the 48 hour window, even though they changed the price after they window. They also charged me more than 30% deposit. They have been non-responsive to my emails.I tried working with them and my bank and have gotten nowhere because they wouldn't work with my bank. I will now take legal action against these horrible crooks and this horrible company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Whatever you do, do not use them! Read through reviews, they buff their reviews. This is a broker and they do not move your stuff, they hire poor companies to move your stuff and they do not care what the outcome is.All of my stuff is damaged.Original quote was $5200.00, I have now had to pay $12,000 just to acquire my things that were withheld from me and had to move them into my house myself because they refused and told me I had to pay a redelivery fee of $1,500. Which was not on the contract, I can’t warn you enough please do not use this company.

TL;DR big scam avoid this company if you want to save yourselves the headache of getting a refund from the bank.I initially called to get an estimate of the move. They made me spend two hours on the phone carefully making an inventory of things I have and making sure I overestimate when I can. They promised they would call me a week before my move for quality assurance and apart from adding/removing items the price was fixed.Fast forward to the week before the move. I scheduled the QA call on the Thursday. They postponed the call to Friday since they apparently double booked the call. On Friday evening just before their office closes they call me, spend 2 hours with video going over the inventory and come back to me with an estimate that was almost twice the original, meanwhile they still couldn’t guarantee the price and left it up to the loaders on the move day. Having experienced a scam before we quickly informed them we had lost their trust and they forwarded the call to their “most senior manager” who appeared to call us from a call center. This manager then went on to explain the exact same thing about it being a problem on our end as if it was our responsibility to estimate the boxes as a software engineer and not their responsibility as a moving company. When we asked to speak to someone higher up the chain we were told this script reading lady was the highest level. She then transferred us to what is apparently her equally senior manager who instantly told us not to fight with him and then demanded we choose an option that did not involve us getting a refund since we were so close to moving and we would be left high and dry if we didn’t choose them. When we refused he told us to email him that we want to cancel the move(obvious tactic to have written proof that we cancelled the move). Please whoever has read this far do not fall for this scam. Every review here that looks genuine says the same thing.

SCAMMERS WHO USE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS.We were told that we could cancel and get a refund on our deposit within 48hrs. Well we called to cancel after about 3 hrs (we looked up reviews and all the positive reviews are from fake accounts). They refused to refund our almost $400 deposit. Many people still do not have their stuff after months by using them and I refused to let that happen to me. They are scammers through and through.

Taking with customer service is a joke....a lady by the name of Charley. We will receive phone calls to confirm delivery....then no call and no show. Then without any phone calls to confirm delivery, receive text messages saying they were there, but no one home.....The pick up was in Louisiana and delivery in TN. We reported that one of the movers had a drink of an alcohol beverage while working. I believe this harassment is due from the request of not having that driver to assist on the delivery. So, a call to customer service was placed and Charley stated that it will be within 3 days.....no call no show. Another call was placed.....Charley stated the weekend....unfortunately ANOTHER no call and no show! Called again...Charley said that she didn't have any luck in getting in touch with the moving company this weekend. She then placed me on hold and came back saying this Wednesday...I told her that if we don't get it Wednesday, that I don't have any other options, but report our delivery stolen. Seemed to careless and no consideration of putting the customers out. Then called Randy, he sets up delivery, I was wanting to talk with someone else to help me reach someone else in charge......All I got from him was the sound of the dial tone. In other words, he HUNG up on ME!!!

I had called White Glove for a short notice move and they were happy to comply with a very competitive quote - I called on Monday to arrange the move on Friday. To my surprise everything was arranged in a timely manner. The staff was the very professional and customer friendly. Thanks for rescuing me. Would recommend White Glove definitely!!

Whatever you do stay away from this company. Everyone in customer service is great. However, the 3rd party movers they use could not be more unprofessional. Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I were quoted over $700 than what we were originally told. Keep in mind, we decided to bring less furniture than we had previously mentioned in the initial quote . The mover claimed the upcharge was $75 for each extra 75 feet he had to walk from my house to the van and for additional stairs. I had carried the majority of my stuff downstairs for them. All that was upstairs was my mattress and tiny metal bed frame. I said I wasn’t comfortable signing until I could call my boyfriend and go over the additional $700 fee with him. While I was on the phone with him for a short period of time the mover rang my doorbell and heavily knocked on my door THREE times (all caught on my ring door bell) and screamed at me that I needed to sign. When I said I’m just going over costs and to please give me a moment he returned to his truck and started honking the horn. My boyfriend called customer service and they were all very kind, called the mover, and brought down the charges. I go to sign the papers while my boyfriend is on the phone with him confirming the price and the mover screams at him “just let me work” . After signing, the mover informed me he would not have space to move well over 50% of my boxes and when I asked him several times to please show me the space in the truck that was ours so I could determine what I could bring he refused. I am now moving across the country without the majority of my stuff and just praying he doesn’t hold our stuff hostage until we agree to pay whatever insane fees he comes up with when our stuff arrives. We would not have stayed with this company if we could’ve afforded to not get our $800 deposit back.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! we did a move from Utah to Florida and was told it would take 10 to 25 days but we have NOT Received any of our stuff!! I was not told that they are brokers?? They hired “Smart Van lines” to do the move. Well Smart Van Lines went out of business 5 days after picking up our stuff!!! Are you freaking kidding me? White glove will not do anything about this and said it’s out if their hands!!! 50,000$ worth of stuff and the personal stuff we can never get back is the worst!!They lied and deceived us!! My heart is broken over the loss of our very personal items that we will never get back.I spoke with Charlie and told her that Smart Van Lines went out of business 5 days after they picked up our stuff and she assured me that was incorrect!! Just another lie to get me off the phone!! I will report them to BBB and am contacting the Attorney General!! Hopefully they can help put them out of business!!!

Took $1,006 for a deposit for me to not hear from them on an exact move time and date and I needed help asap. They gave me a 24 hour window but I was not honored not given my money back. They took my money and did not provide services. I do not trust this company to be transparent. I've never spoken to the same person and different emails come out with made up reasons like move was within 5 days.

Moved me from Southbend to Florida for work. On perfect time. My stuff was very well packed, nothing was damaged. Very helpful customer service. Used moving companies before and this is 5 stars. Will definitely use again if my job relocates. Thank you very much!

Move went $3,500 over estimate. White Glove took a list of all of our possessions to craft an estimate the ultimately fell 30% short. Their response was is that "it's not our problem your items turned out to not be stackable" and we have to find the cash for 30% more than the original quote. I believe we may have been quoted low as a sales tactic. Beware that you will pay much more than you're quoted and you'll have no choice because your things are already loaded and the labor cost is sunk.Good reviews here and on Facebook are suspicious. Accounts have reviewed nothing else. Facebook reviews come from accounts who have no friends in their local area and only stock photos - no info or other posts. Reviews were all posted within 1 month.

I recently moved from California to Florida, they did an amazing job transporting basically my whole life. They were very professional and efficient and treating my items with the utmost care. I felt like I could trust them and if I ever move again I’ll definitely be using them!

My experience with white glove was very bad. I have given them all the information required for the move and they gave me a quote based on that. Later, they had a quality assurance guy call us and they just increased the estimated cubic ft out of nowhere and without adding any more items. I have in-fact removed a few items from the initial estimate.Later, they assigned pack master movers as the carrier. A very arrogant guy has come for the pickup, barely looked at the items and immediately doubled the estimated cubic ft. There was no explanation as to why it was increased and I didn’t add any items to initial quote. We asked to get it into the truck to measure it and they denied it. Also, they threatened to leave and shouted at us when we asked more questions. I knew they were outright lying because I had moved previously with all my stuff and it was definitely way below the estimate. We were just helpless and couldn’t cancel the move and we had to vacate the apartment in 2 days. Overall, we are ended up paying almost 3 times the initial quote and had to endure a very rude and arrogant behavior.Do yourself a favor and do not use white glove at all.
