Snacks & Crypto: Valero Gas Station ReviewLocated close to my workplace, Valero gas station has become my go-to spot for snacks and refreshments. With an impressive selection of snacks and beverages, this place caters to all tastes. An intriguing feature is their Bitcoin and cryptocurrency vending machine, adding a touch of modernity to the store. However, I must caution visitors to park at the front of the station, as the back area appears less secure due to trucks being parked there and the presence of homeless individuals. Staying vigilant while visiting the station is essential to ensure a safe experience. On a positive note, they used to offer cold sandwiches, but unfortunately, the dedicated area has been closed for a few weeks now. Hopefully, they will bring it back soon, as it was a convenient option for a quick meal during busy days.In conclusion, if you're in the area and looking for a convenient spot to grab a snack or drink, Valero gas station is worth a visit. Their variety of treats and the unique Bitcoin machine add an extra appeal. Just remember to prioritize safety and park in the well-lit front area. Happy snacking!

I was just stopping in after getting coffee up the street. I saw they had coffee but no sugar packets. They wanted me to buy 2lbs of sugar! That's crazy!

This is a nice gas station, very roomy and easy to get in/out, next to a strip mall. The self serve pumps were clean and the electronic payment system worked well. When I went into the convenience store, there were two guys behind the glass enclose counter arguing about something and it went on for the entire time I was in the store. They did not acknowledge me at all and all that yelling turned me off, so instead of getting my beverage and snack here, I decided to go somewhere else.

Thieves. Hot dog bread that costs no more than $2.00 at any convenience store and $1.50 at Publix these thieves want to charge you $4.99. And after I protested the cost, the guy lowered it by a dollar (after already inflating the cost). Hot dog $4.99 too. $1 popcorn the guy charged me 50c over; $10 wine these thieves charge $14. The guy just made up a price on the spot. Not even brand name food at all. Just because you're open at 11:30 at night, doesn't mean you can rob people. Thieves. If you are reading this, my suggestion is: go to Walgreens, it's no more than 2 blocks over; I purchased TWO 1.5L wines at $12 ($6 each), shavers, shave cream, cleaning agents, toilet paper and food ALL for $22 (and I got $5 off with the Walgreens membership). These thieves at Valero charged me $28 for nothing.

Dec 4, 2021 at 4:10pmWent inside to purchase lottery tickets like i do every single week. So as usual i went straight to the 2nd window and waited. The counter help was standing at the 1st window and helped customers who showed up after me so i waited until finally he was up to help me. i said : "hi can i have a power ball & a mega million ticket please" then i told him that i would appreciate that he helps me since i was there before others... and being very rude he answered i should have said : "hi how are you doing" when i got inside.i'm very well educated and i always say hi before ordering something then please and thank you"He was very rude so i asked for his name but he refused to tell me... hahahahaha what kind of counter help is that ??? when i informed him i will write him up, he claimed to be the manager !! A manager that manages this gas station and refuses to tell his name... how's that professional ? and added : if you're not happy you can go anywhere else... so basically he didn't care !!! Yes i can go anywhere else... this incident happened today Dec 4, 2021 at 4:10pm SO RUDE !!

Beware of air pump ! Super slow , Added air only to 2 tires and pump stopped. Also when you want to buy gas for cash the cashier guy will make you buy the most expensive gas !

I live right around corner their prices are very high due to being an independent store. But many times the employee to customer service really makes up for it being right around the corner helps too.

Easy to notice on a normal traffic, Valero is located at the corner of Oakland Boulevard and 27th Ave. They have one of the lowest gas prices in the area and and store where you can find a little bit of everything starting from lottery, candies, cookies, beverages wine to beers. There's also a clean restroom that everyone can use. The customer service is excellent and there's always a parking spot available.

This Valero is an interesting mix of Bodega, deli, and cafe. Inside seating gives you a space to enjoy your fresh food or take a break and everything you could want is in there somewhere. The space is a bit cramped and dusty, but that's to be expected with so much going on in there!

When the old timer owner of this gas station named Mohammed was running this place, it certainly was alot better, cuz he and a few of his cool employees used to give me credits on a few items here. But now, there's a new owner here who is not very nice. He yelled at me cuz I was asking for a few dollars outside of the establishment, and he was questioning his female employee about my personal nationality and about who I was. See? Then, I would've been wrong in this guy's judgment if I chose to steal from his gas station, instead of ask someone outside for a dollar to spend here. The second time I came here to buy something, this new owner was there again and he tried stiffing me for $10 cash after I gave him a $100 bill and bought something for $4. He was ignorant enuff to try and tell me that I walked outside after he gave me my change when I was actually standing at the newspaper stand inside counting my change. I had to show him the inside of my coin purse and my phone case and I told him to rewind his cameras and check my pockets since he continued to play d*** and act like I was lying about the whole scenario. Beware when coming here, the owner is a huge j**** and he might try to stiff you.
